Im interested in doing and Adventures by Disney (Irealnd/ Utah/Nevada and or Wyoming). Any positive negative feedback on this and when is it most age approriate,,,my DD's ? are aged 16 to 4... Also how much of the touring are you stuck on a bus? Not really into to much of that...:yay:

The only one of the 3 that I've taken is the Canyon & Cowboys (Utah/Arizona trip) that used to be called Southwest Splendors. In my opinion, I still think it's one of ABD's best itineraries. The American Southwest is beautiful, and amazing, and a must-see. You can check out my Trip Report from 2008 (link in my signature). The itinerary has changed a little since then, but I think it will give you a good feel for the trip. There are several Trip Reports for this itinerary in the Sticky at the top of this Forum.

ABD's are not bus tours. The buses take you from place to place, but once you arrive, you are off the bus. Some of the itineraries will have longish travel time between a couple of locations, but the Adventure Guides will help keep you entertained.

Beware! :) ABD's can be addictive!

I suggest you look at each itinerary, the activities involved and weather or not your youngest would have the stamina for it all. While 4 is the minimum age to take the trips most trips have a recommended age and I believe they determine the recommended age based on the activities involved. Also be aware that ABD does use outside vendors for some activities and they may have minimum ages that are allowed and if the minimum age is 6 your 4 year old won't be allowed to participate and ABD can't do anything about that.

Look at the the tours and read the trip reports corresponding to that trip and then ask specific questions if you are in doubt someone on the board is bound to have taken the trip especially if it is popular . For example, I have taken the Ireland trip, someone else has taken the Arizona, Utah trip. So we would be able to answer specific questions.

Good Luck and I hope you enjoy if you do take an advneture.
