Adventures by Disney and DVC ??? What is it ???

Hi

I just logged on the the DVC member site and it has Adventures by Disney on the home page.
"Now, Disney Vacation Club Members can use their Vacation Points to embark on a vacation with Adventures by Disney, the latest addition to the Disney family. Expertly planned, professionally guided and hassle-free, these adventures are infused with the same Disney quality that has delighted families for generations. In 2006, Adventures by Disney is offering seven extraordinary itineraries on three continents.

I just wondered if anyone has any more info on this - How many points are they and how does it work if staying on points?

I tried to get a brochure - but once again I can't because im in the UK

Any info would be appreciated

There is a website that gives all of the specific tours offered. Af far as points go, they range anywhere from 403 - 497 per adult and 309-389 per child. If you go back to the members website, you can view the points charts there.

I got the brochure in the mail a few days ago. I am so excited about it and plan to do one of these somewhere in the distant future. Disney is offering several great vacation spots and making them into all-inclusive vacations where dining and entertainment are included. I didn't realize we could use points, so that makes it even better. Disney has vacation down to a science, so I completely trust them in their ability to make these vacations wonderful above and beyond expectation.

Some of the locations are:

Costa Rica
Hawaii
London
Italy
Moutains in the US

They run about $3,000 per adult with double occupancy. This includes transfers, lodging and almost all meals and entertainment.

Those are adult points. For children, it is about 100 points less.
