Adventurer's Club fans - guess what?....

Remember "Fingers"? Well, I found him! He's playing at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Sunday Brunch at La Coquina. (This is the Hyatt resort that's right next to Downtown Disney.)

The Sunday Brunch is very good, if slightly pricey...about $65pp (but that's with unlimited champagne, all beverages (juices, teas, coffee, etc.), made-to-order hot entrees (like Wild Boar and pheasant), artisan cheese table, house-made dessert buffet (including chocolate truffles), etc....

I know that there are many AC fans around here, so thought I should mention that Steve/"Fingers" is playing at La Coquina on Sundays through Father's Day (when La Coquina shuts down for the summer). "Fingers" is also playing at another hotel through the week, but I can't remember it right now...maybe the Hilton in downtown Orlando?

How neat! I'm trying to throw together a spur of the moment trip since I haven't been down there in a while, and I might have to add this to my list of things to do while I'm there. I've really been enjoying seeing the former Adventurers in other roles, but I haven't yet caught Fingers anywhere. That could be a fun outing. Thanks!

I think we need an ongoing thread with former AC cast sightings so we all know where to look.

What's everyone been doing lately? The only thing I saw anyone in was a guy from the Comedy Warehouse doing the velcro show at Innoventions.

That's a good idea. I try to see them if I have a chance when I'm in Orlando, especially their local theater productions, but it's hard to keep up with where they are appearing.

Two former Adventurers are at Chefs de France with Remy, and another one subs on occasion. Other places that AC and CW people often appear are: Citizens of Hollywood and American Idol at DHS, Nemo and the bird show at AK, Main Street at MK, World Showcase Players and Velcro in Epcot, and Hoop Dee Doo. Several are also involved in special events and you can see them doing things like ESPN Weekends, Star Wars Weekends (they often host the Hyperspace Hoopla), band competitions and DVC events.

Away from Disney, a few of them work at Sea World. Some are also at Universal (doing the Disaster show and the monster makeup show among other things) and I know at least a couple of them are supposed to be at Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal IOA once it opens. (I know one will be in Ollivanders, I'm not sure about the other one.)

Many of them are also involved in local Orlando theater. I don't know of any current shows they are in right now, but Mad Cow shows often feature former AC and CW cast members. (Their show later this summer, "Shipwrecked", will feature an AC alum.) A couple of them perform regularly with the Orlando Shakespear Theater. At least one AC guy is also regularly doing stand up around Orlando, often at Bonkerz or Stand-up Comedy Spotlight at Sleuth's. Several of the women from AC and CW do cabaret at various theaters around Orlando.

Two AC alums are in a current "Sunsetters" ad that airs on the Weather Channel and Discovery HD theater fairly often.

Three AC and CW people are doing a show at the end of Orlando Fringe this year. It's the Fringe Abridged Fundraiser on 5/31.
