Adventureland on MK Christmas parade day

Hi everyone,
So I'm going to have about 4 hours after landing until I can get into my WL room. I'm wondering how crazy just the Adventureland area is going to be if this turns out to be the parade day.
I'm planning on the Keys to the Kingdom tour before hitting up MK again for an actual park day and I know that it sometimes goes on Jungle Cruise. I've never been on the Jungle Crusie or POTC as both were down on my last trip. So I want the experience of riding at least the Jungle Cruise before taking the tour. I figure that I will get FP for those rides and maybe Splash Mountain before heading back to WL to get ready for Disapalooza.
I figure getting there is going to be a little bit of a trial, but it might be fun to walk by all the parade stuff. Then if the train is running I'd catch that from Frontierland back to the front and head back to transportation to WL. Do they ever stop letting people into the park on this day? I'm not to worried about the travel time to get to an from MK. I think I'm just going to enjoy seeing everything on the way. Thanks for any info. I hadn't planned on going that day but when Disapalooza was announced I backed my trip up one day to have that experience.

It will be quite "normal" until about 2:30PM.
After that, all of the guests who were held on Main Street for the parade taping will be able to go back into the park and ride attractions.

It will generally be on the first weekend (Fri, Sat, sometimes Sun) of December.
This year, figure Dec. 4th & 5th (and possibly 6th.)

Thanks Robo. I was planning to head out around 3 so that should work. I appreciate the response. I wasn't sure what to expect.
