Adventureland now opens later than rest of MK...

What is up with this? Now they're doing Mk like they do Epcot? Opening and closing different areas of the parsk at different times is just odd to me. I always hated it about Epcot, but now Adventureland?!? Does anyoen find thsi odd and/or irritaing?!?
I'm really surprised about this, but then again sounds liek the usuall stuff these days...

It seems to me like some tweaking and making miniscule adjustments to employee hours. It's another complexity to trip planning, that's for sure. For example, do we go to to the POTC which opens at 9 am on some PEAK days in October, or should we avoid those days and wait until 10 am on the REGULAR days? At least we know the Jungle Cruise won't open until 10 am EVERYDAY. That is, until the schedules are changed again!

Adventureland to Open at 10 a.m. Starting September 28


Starting Sunday, September 28, 2003, the Magic Kingdom's Adventureland will not open until 10 a.m. during non-peak times. Attractions affected include: Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and The Enchanted Tiki Room - Under New Management. Guests who enter Adventureland wishing to walk to Frontierland from 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. will be redirected there through the Adventureland Breezeway.This will be in effect until further notice.

However, the following dates in October have been identified as peak days:

-- Saturday, October 11
-- Friday, October 17
-- Saturday, October 18
-- Saturday, October 25

On these days, Adventureland attractions will open at 9 a.m., except for Jungle Cruise, which will still open at 10.
