Adventure Travel Agreement woes?

As anyone else had problems with the Adventure Travel Agreement?

I have now received 4 copies of the agreement. The first was an HTML email with graphics that are not formatted for printing, that does not have an indication of "travel agreement starts here" and "end of travel agreement". It printed at 15 pages long but indicated that I should only return 3. I called my travelista who sent another two copies, both out of order, neither had a page 1. I assumed the page 1 was the cover letter and sent it in. Today I got a note from someone I've never worked with saying without page 1 it could not be processed. She did not provide another document or any way to contact her. After another call to my Travelista I now have a ten page document, that is (again) not formatted to be printed - printing the first three pages will give you six pages of printed material with funky headings and footers.

Is it always this hard? I'm at the angry-cussing level of frustrated. I deal with contracts for a living and
I've never this much trouble signing a simple form. I'm wondering if there's an easier way to do this (a web link to the right form, maybe) that I'm missing.

I have been able to see the agreements and other documents with no issues on Windows machines and Android devices (we're not apple people). We've also printed them to have copies on the trip. Recently our agreement was a one page thing but, as this was our second ABD trip I believe they had most of our info on file. As I remember, our first was a longer one which we printed, filled out and FAXed back. No issues.

I would suspect software. You don't mention what type of system you are using, mail software or browser software. Some of our documents have been PDF formatted and you'd need a PDF reader for that (Adobe Reader is a common one) but others have been email messages. I use a mail cliet but my wife uses Yahoo on the web. That can have issues if you are not very careful. She sometimes prints pages of "stuff". It looks OK on screen but you often can't print using the print option in the browser itself without a mess (it wants to print everything on screen, not just the message panel). Look for a print button in the web page, that may help (in Yahoo there is a "More" menu as you look at the message. There is a "Print" option there for example). You might check that your software has been updated recently too and see if that helps.

Hi Alacrity,
I work in IT so I was on a windows machine and I tried a Mac. Both have the most recent version of Adobe PDF. The first document was not sent in PDF, but in an html email. The next 2 versions were sent in PDF, but they were incomplete/not formatted correctly (several blank pages before/after, no page 1). My last version was a PDF that printed fine contained more pages than they wanted back and had bizarre margins, but they finally accepted it.

Next time I'm going to use your FAX trick and save myself a week's trouble. ;)
