We do an advent calendar and usually it's little toys, but i would like to do slips of paper with things to do for the season this year. We will be at Disneyland the 9th-16th though, so I was wondering if you all had fun things to do at Disney.

I uploaded a picture of a list I found, for ideas. What can we do at Disney that is special? I would love it if it was spreading extra pixie dust too! Any thoughts are welcome :)

We'll be in the parks Dec 12-19 and our Elf on the Shelf has to make the journey as a stowaway as well. We also normally have an advent at home. I think I'll try to gather a few treats while we're in the park, Mickey krispies, gingerbread or sugar cookies, fudge apple for us to share as a treat and also things like glow sticks, stickers. temporary tattoos to use as little advent treats, maybe even a mini scavenger hunt clue for the day's activities?

Oh, we need to bring our Elf too! Good idea!

I think one day we will go see Santa at the Grand.

I'm not sure if you have a Target near by but I absolutely love their Christmas section. I'm sure you can find all kinds of goodies there... I even believe there's a Target near Disneyland if you'd want to make a quick run while you're there.

I actually bought a mini gingerbread house kit at my local Target it was $2.99 and would be small enough to throw in a suitcase as the box is slightly bigger than a boxed candy cane... But that would be a cool activity to whip out that's Christmassy but not a hassle.

Another idea would be to make snowflakes out of paper to deck out your hotel room.

If your kids are little they could make Christmas cards to give to characters they meet at the park, or you could have the character sign the card they made and make a scrapbook.

If you've got girls you could do a nail day where you get Christmas colors or designs.

You could bring stockings and hang them somewhere in your room and each morning your kids can wake up to a Disney item/something to use in the park/treat/etc... It doesn't have to be a huge stocking they make the mini ones. So maybe one day a Disney gift card, or a $5 Starbucks card, or a rice Krispy treat.

When you meet characters you can ask them what they're wanting for Christmas... It'd be funny to see or hear the responses.

Classy, those are amazing!! I love those ideas! We fly Southwest, (free bags) so I can bring a lot if need be :) I am planning on bringing a small tree and tiny ornaments for the room. Our advent garland is actually 24 small mittens - http://www.knitpicks.com/patterns/Smitten_(a_Holiday_Garland)__D55474220.html that I knit, so I am looking forward to stuffing them! They are fairly small so if something can't fit, I'll put a note in there.

Yay glad I could help, your trip sounds like it's going to be so much fun! (:
