Hi everyone!
I'm listening to the 5/8/09 e-mail podcast even now as I write this. I heard Kevin reference the Advanced Dining Reservation Tips that he wrote and said that it was at the DIS site. I found it! It's on the main page, under Dining, under the Disney Dining Reservations (ADR) and under the link "Making a Reservation". http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/reservations.htm
I knew I had seen it before, and I'm glad that Kevin brought it up again. I'm going to be making our ADRs later this month, and will be following many of these tips. It's our 2nd trip to the World in 5 years, but our first staying at a resort and doing the Disney Dining. I'm a celiac and am absolutely giddy over the idea that I won't have to prepare my own meals or haul it on my back like a mule all week.
I do have a question - Item #5 talks about how the dining reservation system is flawed and that sometimes when you try to book a table for 2, they'll tell you there are no openings, but sometimes if you try to make the reservation for 3, you'll find success. All of our (DH & me) ADRs will be for 2. Can I just ask for a table for 3 right off the bat even though it will only be the 2 of us?
I've just recently discovered the DIS podcasts and am listening every week. I'm also downloading past podcasts and getting a lot out of them as well - thanks for making them available!
