Advance Restaurant Plans?

Hi......We're headed to Universal April 10-15 (Easter is April 11.) We'll be staying on-site at HRH. Do Universal Restaurants take reservations a set number of days in advance? Should we try to get dinner reservations for every night since it's a holiday week or will we be o.k. 'winging it.' Our kids are 10, 6, and 4; any suggestions? I'd like something better than fast food but nothing really expensive.....(just doesn't seem to make too much sense to spend a lot on a dinner that's interupted several times with restroom runs!) I'd be interested in suggestions both in the parks, at City Walk, or in the surrounding area.
