I am going to Disney Jan 22-29 with 7 adults and a 1 yr old baby. Are we going to have problems getting Advance Reservations? I keep reading about people not getting into the restaurants that they wanted. In the past with Priority Seating I always got the times and dates that I wanted. We want to make reservations for Crystal Palace breakfast, Kona Cafe, Liberty Tree Tavern and Chef Mickey Breakfast. I am hoping that January will be less crowded and we wont have any problems!
Thanks

We are going January 7-13 so my 90 day and 90+10 days were this past week. Called on my 90 +10 day and got everything but CRT with no prob!!! Called on the 90 day mark for CRT and got the exact time I wanted. We ended up with CRT breakfast, Chef Mickey's supper, Princess Storybook Breakfast, Le Cellier supper and Hoop Dee Doo Revue with absolutely no probs!!! Good luck!!!!

Janaury is indeed not that crowded, but if you have your heart set on eating at any of those places make your ADRs at the 90 day mark just to be sure!

Enjoy,

Bob

I'm going January 8-14 and I got all the ADRs I wanted except 50's Prime Time because it will be closed that week. However, I got CRT for breakfast and dinner, Chef Mickey breakfast, Crystal Palace lunch, Le Cellier lunch, Biergarten dinner, California Grill dinner and Hoop de Doo.

I am sooo happy to hear that January reservations wont be a problem! One less thing to be worried about!!
Thanks and have a great time in Disney!!!!!!!

What do you mean by 90 + 10? Our reservations start Jan 27, so I figured I could call and book ADR's 90 days before that (Oct 29). Where does the +10 factor in? All this planning is making me nutty...and confused! :)

Thanks! ::MickeyMo

If you're staying at one of the Disney owned and operated hotels, you can call 90 days out from your arrival date, b ut you can make your ressies for up to 10 days. My advice would be to figure out which restaurants you really want to eat at, and call at 90 days out and make them for the whole vacation. But if you don't get everything that you want, try again at 90 days out from the particular day, because they will open up some more tables.

We are arriving Dec 30 at the Swan, so we couldn't do the +10 days. On Jan 1 we switch to OKW and could do the +10 days for that portion. I couldn't get Cinderella's breakfast for Jan 3 on that day, so I called two days later(following advice from the DIS), and got a table for 5 at 9:00.

I was really worried about making my New Year's Eve and New Year's Day ressies, figuring everyone who arrived during that busy week would have first shot at them. I got everything I wanted, except we had to split up a party of 9 for dinner at Boma to two tables. All in all no problems, so it shouldn't be too bad for the OP at the end of January.

Today was exactly 90 days out for me, and I didn't have any problems (reserved 3 dinners: Yachtsman Steakhouse, Jiko and Cinderella's Royal Table). I think the problems some people were having was due to the free dining promotion, and either not having an ADR, or trying to make them rather late in the game.

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: Hope you get your ressies!

Don't be disappointed if you don't get CRT breakfast on the +10. It doesn't seem that it is available for the +10. Call at 7am at 90 days and you should have no problem.

Also when I did the 90+10 I was told that I had to first make an ADR for the 90th day before I could go +10. I explained that I wouldn't be arriving until late, but the CM would not budge, so I had to make an ADR for the 90th day and cancel later in order to start the +10. I don't know if this is official or just the CM I was dealing with. So even if you arriving late on your first day, have an ADR request ready.

I made all my ADRs at 90 day out. I did not make an ADR for my arrival date.

I'm glad you got everything you wanted!! I will be trying to book all of those except Hoop Dee Doo next Sunday morning, I hope I am lucky like you!!

Called today and got all of my ADR's for our 10 day trip, even CRT for our last day there...so it is possible!!

I leave in 9 days and called yesterday and got everything I wanted, including LeCellier for lunch on a Sunday and CRT for dinner on an EMH night. The only challenge the OP will have are the character meals, but being flexible should help alot. I like to eat at Cape May at openning time (5:30PM) so did call that one in on the 90 day mark. While I go without ADRs, even calling days before you arrive make a big difference too.
