Advance payment dues

If you have autopay enabled, you have to turn it off. You can then apply any Disney Gift Cards. Then re-enable autopay.

I do not have autopay on but do I need to choose which contract to pay it too or does it just go into a holding account?
Thank you

Yes, click Pay By Contract. But don’t be surprised, if you don’t pay all of it now with DGCs, DVC reallocates the amounts differently between contracts than you did.

I didn't know that. I've been paying each separately, trying to leave a little owed on each so that I don't overpay. 🤷 Lucky for me, all my resorts went up enough that there's no way I overpaid anything. 😐

I didn’t know it either, until someone reported it here!

A word of caution for people who want to purchase DVC travel insurance from Travelex. I believe it needs to be purchased within 3 days of paying your dues or something like that. Just check with MS if you are thinking about it.

We purchased the insurance, it isn’t that much and covers loss of dues, which our annual travel insurance policy does not cover.

UPDATE: I chatted online with MS. The policy you purchase is per Use Year, so the timing is that you want to buy it before you use any points for that use year (ie. if you borrow points forward, purchase the policy for that use year before the trip). Must be purchased before 10 days before the trip. Covers Maintenance Fees (ie Annual Dues) related to the reservation as part of Trip Cancelation coverage.

The Travelex Insurance can be purchased at any time. If purchased after your dues are paid, it's possible they may place a waiting period on the coverage.
