Advance Dining Question

So, I have yet another crazy question. For our upcoming March vacation we used our points to book a split stay at Beach Club and the Polynesian. However, we couldn’t resist and bought points from another owner to start our stay (one day only) at Rivera. When the day arrives (whether it is 60 or 180 days at that point) to make ADR, can I make all of my reservations from the Rivera day - or do I have to wait until the next day when the reservations are my own points?

Previously, I think each reservation has a start day for dining based on check-in date for that reservation. I would assume it will be the same with the current bookings.

You're going to have 3 different 60 day marks since you have 3 different reservations.

The good news is that the window for each resort reservation includes the checkout day from that resort. But as above, 60 days from checkin for each resort you can book ADRs for the length of that stay (checkin day through checkout day), up to 10 days total for each resort.

So, if you’re booking online yourself, you can only book one reservation at a time: for example- days 1&2 can be booked during RIV window, days 2-5 can be booked during BCV window, and days 5-8 can be booked during Poly window (assuming 3 night stays at the latter 2).

In the past, you could call in to DVC MS on day 1, and get all ADR’s booked for all days (no matter the number of resort reservations -up to 10 days). Post-covid, things have much been less consistent. I’ve had some success & some refusals with MS willingness to help… so, you can’t count on it anymore, but I’d still give it a shot if you’re trying to book a hard-to-get ADR.
Good luck & happy planning!! pixiedust:
