Adults Wearing Mickey Mouse Ears

They just add to the fun and festivity for me! At age 52, I go to Disney to play!

Adults in Disney, I didn't know there were any there. I'm a 41 year old child and I wear my ears ever day. Wear them and enjoy.

Don't feel silly. I saw a woman at the parks dressed in a Minnie Mouse dress and ears and not even at Halloween, it was Christmas time. so I think wearing the mickey ears will be just fine.

I won't go to WDW without my Mickey Mouse headband with the bobbly Mickey Heads. I bought them in August when I went with my 16yo niece and her friend. When I went in December with friends from work I put cute little red bows on each of the springs to dress them up. I'm the only one in all the photopass pics with Mickey Ears on ................... LOL................:lmao: But I absolutely loved it!! So I'd say GO FOR IT!! :woohoo:

Not only do my DH and I wear ears...but he puts his on the morning we leave the house for the trip. The people in the Philadelphia airport don't know if we are coming or going...:lmao:

The people on the plane love it. He always gets comments about being prepared. He says "This is my park attire, and I am going to the park today!!!!"

I've worn the bride ears on our honeymoon, a Christmas-y Tigger hat for our December trip a few years ago, and regular Tigger ears the rest of the time. TONS of adults wear all kinds of ears! Have a great time and don't feel silly!

Heck yeah, baby! I don my ears every time I step inside a WDW park! Well, almost. . .sometimes I wear a tiara. . princess:

You're never too old to wear Mickey ears! :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

I have the really kool ones that light up with twinkle lights. Love 'em. I wear them all the time at the parks. The kids look at them and of course they want a pair. If they were good enough for Annette Funicello, they're good enough for me!

Yes - wear them in the parks (really where else can you?)

I don't wear the "hat" ones because I have a big head and a lot of hair (which is often in a pony tail or bun when at WDW) and find they don't fit quite right but I have a number of the headband kind. There are so many different kinds, I have several different pairs and try to get something new each trip. I have black minnie ears, gold ears, silver ears, stitch ears, tigger ears, every colour of bobble mickey heads on the head bands and I'm thinking a few others that I can't recall right now.

Choose the ones you like the best and wear them with pride.

I usually wear the headband style too, because I have lots of hair. Although, when I won my YOAMD ears in Epcot last trip, they went right on my head and stayed there the rest of the day..I'm such a nerd.:lmao:

Also, when my sister and I ate at CRT in 2007, we both wore our hair up and had little tiaras on...we got lots of attention from the characters because of this..

Im a 6'2 and 260lb millwright and wear my ears on every trip, Ive also been known to have my hair pixie dusted at the barber shop with my kids.
Wear your ears and have fun !!!! YOUR AT DISNEY:cool1:

On our last trip I saw MANY adults wearing the Mickey ears...including me!

Well, I bought them for DD, and would grab them once in awhile to put on myself. She was just turning 11 and did not take those ears off unless it was to go to bed, lol!

You will see many, many people wearing them...including adults. Why not? Your in Disney, so have fun!

The last time I went was in October for the MNSSHP and we had the light up ears with our names sewn on them, they were great and we got alot of attention. So go forth be silly, have fun, and wear those ears with pride!!! You will not stick out like a sore thumb. You'll see people wearing all kinds of unusual things, at the Halloween party the big thing was Capt Jack hair, everyone had it on. Have fun.

I think this answers the question:

Forgive me if this isn't the right place for my question, but I'm wondering if adults wear the Mickey Mouse ears in the parks? I know lots of kids wear them, and they have special "bride" and "groom" ones, but I'm talking about the regular ears. I think it would be fun for my Mom and I (she's 71 and I'm 51) to wear them to the parks, but I would feel "silly" if we were the only adults wearing them.

Have any of you adults worn them?

Yeah, you'll be fine in ears. It's the ONLY place you can wear them and NOT get funny looks. ;)

As many others have said tons of adults wear them. The thing I find so funny (funny in a good way!) is all the dads I see carrying princess backpacks or wearing princess ears with a small girl in tow. Now, those are GREAT dads!

It always makes me smile to see that. Bet when dad signed on for the trip he didn't know he was going to be wearing princess ears! :)

What you dont know is that each mickey mouse hat you buy is a mind controlling device......... this is how they get families to overspend on food and souvineers!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

I have a nice set of Pirate Micky Ears...Love to wear them...

Maybe this should have gone in the shameful secrets thread...

I wear a Goofy Cap - signed by Goofy! And when my 2 DD's start acting up or when I just feel like it, I start to do my Goofy impersonation, the walk, the talk, the laugh:rotfl: Changes the DD's attitudes faster then Rockin' RollerCoaster. :thumbsup2

Another proud-wearing Mickey ears family here! :thumbsup2
Wouldn't have it any other way!
