I know at WDW I've never had a problem ordering off the kids menu at a table service. But is this okay at Disneyland? I a pretty light eater and don't like to share plates with DH (we have very different food tastes).

Thank you

It really depends on the place. Most experiences I've heard is getting an adult size portion of a kid meal, so that wouldn't help you with portion sizes. :confused3

In our case, Me, DW, 4.5yo DS and 2.5yo DD. We are light eaters like you; I and my DW order for normal meal and share between all 4 family members, not for cheapskates, for experience in our trips to USA, the plates are very big in comparison here in Mexico. Or, my DW order a normal plate which shares a little with me, and we arrange meal for children, that in general I end eating up it I, this way we avoid to waste meal.

They don't have much issue with kids doing it but they might with adults doing it. I've never ordered a kids' meal at a TS place so I don't know for sure. I do know for sure that adults can order kids' meals at CS places with no issues at all, I've done that a few times myself, even ordered the toddler meal a time or two. :)

In Feburary of 2006 I order the kids meal at Areils Grotto and hace no problems however I am not sure if the rules have changed since then. I have order the kids meal many times at CS resturants and had no problems what so ever.
