Are any of you bringing along a pillow or stuffed animal?

I have a down pillow that goes with me EVERYWHERE and I can't sleep without Connor, my stuffed teddy bear!

Anyone else as bad as me? :o

Beth

I bring my pillow but I leave my buddies at home cause I fear they may get lost.

I have a stuffed bear that travels with us everywhere. My DH gave him to me the year we got engaged which is also the year I was fighting cancer. He has gone on every cruise with us as well as many, many trips to WDW. We usually try and take one "bear was there" picture each trip. On the DVC member cruise we took him to the beach with us one day and took a picture of him on the sailboats with the Wonder in the background.

Sure I'm an adult, but deep inside I guess I'm still a kid at heart!

I left my pillow at home but I did bring Connor with me...:D :D :D

I got a bear in London a few years ago ("Ted"), and he then followed me through Europe, collecting pins on his Union Jack sweater. Unfortunately, his sweater is full so I may adopt another animal on our cruise, preferably a "clothed" one that can wear pins!!:D

My pillow "SMOOSHY" usually goes with me, except when we fly, not enough room to pack my pillow. My DW thinks I'm crazy, but I've had this pillow for 20 years, and I just got it broke in, LOL!!!

I LOVE my down pillow! I always travel with it. I roll it up very tightly and pack it in the largest suitcase.

My DS9 must have his bear "Fuzzy". Fuzzy has been with us on every trip. He is well worn (well loved) and showing his age but DS wouldn't dream of going on the ship without him.Fuzzy winds up being DS "carry on" item!

I have a Tigger that goes with me everywhere. Not only that, but he is too big for a suitcase, so I carry him in my lap on the plane. My husband is relieved that this time people will think that it is Katie's. :)

I bought one of the Disney Bears last summer and then he went back with me 3 weeks later on the cruise. He was sticking out of my cruise backpack along with my DH's newly purchased Disney Bear. My DD always gets to take a friend or 2 (depending on the size) on every trip. She likes to rotate them so they all get a chance to go someplace. She remembers which ones have been on a trip and to where. When we have had a deck 1 or 2 stateroom we put them in the window so when we get off at each port we can find our cabin. We also like to see what our cabin steward will do with them and the towels animals each night.

I bring my white noise machine everywhere with me!! Not only for people in the room snoring but for hall noise and just any type of creaking or other noise...I couldn't sleep without it!

I always bring a bear along too! I am glad I am not the only adult that does that! I also have a favorite pillow.

;)

My husband has to take a couple of his favorite pillows everywhere we go. They go on his carry-on on the plane. He'll
have them with him as he boards the Wonder Mar. 16.

My down pillow & bear go with me every time that I travel! I have had my bear "Bow", since my dh gave him to me in high school. He's getting a little worn out now, since that was 20 years ago!! ;) The bad thing is, my 18 m. old dd thinks it is hers, and tends to steal him away when we are sleeping...

Beth..... do not worry. I will be bringing my stuffed yellow moose all the way from Canada for this trip. I take him everywhere and he gets to travel in my carry on (I'd be devasted if my luggage got lost with him in it!). And I am sure my sister will also have a stuffed animal of some sort.

My husband loves to tease me about the "Yellow Mahoona" and every time I wash him (the moose that is) my hubbie tells me that one day I will open up the dryer and there will just be bits of stuffing everywhere!!! :-( Oh well, the Yellow Mahoona gets to go on a Disney Cruise and he doesn't, so :p .

See you on the ship, and you too saturday97!

Love the "bear was there" idea for pics!

Reminds me of a prank played on someone at work...
This person had bought a "mouse" cover for her mouse, and caught a lot of flack for it.
One day, the mouse was gone, and an ominous ransom note was left!
We had all but forgtten the mouse until one day pictures started arriving in the mail. That little guy traveled half way around the world!:D
He was passed off to anyone going on a trip and then was posed somewhere for a picture. At one point he even met a lady mouse, and last we heard from him, was raising a litter of little mice.
Happy ending to what could have been a sad tale:rolleyes:

LOVE the mouse ransom story! I think that's probably one of the best I've heard tell!

Dittos on the "white noise machine" - and Michael has to take his blanket with him (think Linus)!

I thought I was the only adult that slept with a stuffed animal still. My daughter gave me a stuffed bunny when I first starting going threw my divorce. I have slepted with fluffy ever since. He goes every with me, along with my little snuggle pillow.

I also carry my own down pillow--I put a very onoxious case on it that could never be confused with the hotels bedding when I travel. You can see it in a lot of the photo's on my site--it has a b&w checked case on it.

Hey Dragonlady and Saturday97, Perhaps we should set up a table at the DIS meet for our "friends." :) I bet they could share some pretty amazing (and perhaps embarassing) stories!!
