We are going to the party on the 3rd also! We have dressed up the last 3 MNSSHPs and we are far from alone! I think probably 75% of the adults were dressed up. We also had MORE FUN then the ones that didn't dress up! LOL! One year I went as a doctor and last year my mom and I went as mouseketeers. I don't know what we are going as this year but we are definitely dressing up. Go, dress up, and have fun!

DD and I went out last night to pick something out for her! She keeps changing her mind!

I was planning on going as Tink but could not find the right material!

Whatever happens, will definately be dressed up!

That's part of the fun! I even have a Pumpkin from last year from the DS that I plan on bringing with me for Trick or Treating!

I don't know who is more excited me or DD!

We're going Halloween Night!

I will be attending MNSSHP on Oct 1, and will be decked out in full costume ::yes:: . I plan to go as a pirate but more to the theme of POTC. I cant wait, just trying to figure out what costume my girlfriend should wear (shes lost all focus on deciding on a costume since she found out STITCH's grand opening is Oct 1) :jumping1:

This is really cool to hear!! My family is really into halloween!! How far in advance do I need to make a reservation????
I need a tink costume!! (Although I bet there will be alot of Tinks running around!!:))

DH and I went last year dressed as Mousecateers. We wore black shorts and I put our names on white t-shirts w/ iron on block letters and had mouse ear hats! Very easy and not hot, it was a lot of fun.

Our family dressed up last year as giant candy corns. My daughter who is a tween wouldn't wear hers and about a dozen cast members sorrounded her and would leave her until she got dressed. It was great. You really feel part of the whole event when you do. I found that it gave our kids confidence to see their parents go out and be willing to stand out. You should really wear costumes

Great costumes Alicia! The family looks great. My mom had made me a Queen of Hearts costume for a work party years ago. I'll be calling her today to see if she still has it. We all plan on dressing up, DS(13)will be Sorcerer Mickey and DS(11) will be Lock from NBC(his favorite movie). We're all looking forward to it since we've never been to it before.

Of course we'll be in costume! My DH & I are planning a quick trip to MK for our annivsry, this is the 1st time we have heard of MNSSHP and we cant wait. DH has been racking his brain to come up with something that will be light and easy to move around in. We are taking no DK at all, we want to be the kids of the night! We are goint 10/8

We went last year and everyone dressed up ... My sister and I were Mini Mouses, my daughters were tink and poc and my husband was goofy. We had a blast and the shoes for the mini outfits were a BIG HIT (love those yellow shoes ... I wish I could figure out how to put a photo on this message ... we all looked great.)
We will be going agian this Halloween and we will be dressing up again (tickets for night of Oct. 26th..)

Alot I've times I've worn a Halloween t-shirt I've made myself...my favorite is the Mickey (3 circles) that are spider webs. Last year my DH had a Franken Goofy shirt I painted for him. :earsboy:

But this year I think we are going to go in costume. There were LOTS of adults dressed up last year when we went Oct.16.We haven't come up with what we're going as yet though!

TNMomof3...GREAT picture...I thought you lucky lady you were with two good looking men,but one wasn't yours huh!?! ;) Adorable kids! Love the costumes! Thanks for sharing! :earsboy:

we have not decided what to wear. we already have realistic pirate costumes, but mine has alot of fabric in the skirt, and I worry about riding rides in it.... so we are still thinking...

I should read my own halloween website for costume ideas, haha www.dumptv.com/holidaze/halloween
of course, I have worn most of those costumes already....

glad to hear that other adults will be dressing up!!!!

see you all there!!pirate:

:rotfl: Thanks, Baloo! I wish I could claim both of the guys. :teeth:

overwhelmed, love your site! :D

Shan, have you decided to wear the costumes?

We will be a party of nine 4 adults 1 teen 1 pre teen and 3 littler ones and we will all be dressed up. We will not however be dressing as a group as none could agree. I will probably be little bo peep, my husband woody, the teen (a boy) peter pan, the pre teen (a girl) an angel/devil (although this is a little too true to character to be a costume), the 3 younger belle (2yr old), snow white (5yr old), and captain hook (6yr old). The 2 other adults I believe are still undecided although they will definately be dressed up. I think she wanted to be pocahontas but could not find it through disney in adult sizes.

Absitively posilutely! I wouldn't even *think* of going without a costume! Of course, you're talking to someone who went trick-or-treating right through high school and walked around college campus all day on Halloween dressed as Jane. I think half the fun is lost if you don't wear a costume, but that's just me. I love seeing how creative everyone is. Last year, I saw a trio of hitch-hiking ghosts.

I dressed as Alice last year. I had my picture taken with those cards in Fantasyland too, and even the real Alice who came over to me during the parade! Never ran into the Queen though. I had wanted my boyfriend to be the Mad Hatter but he ended up costumeless, so my friend and I made him buy one of those silly hats. He was good about it though- wore it the entire evening. :) I was so disappointed that WDW no longer sells the actual Mad Hatter hats.

This year, I'm planning to go as Mary Poppins (and maybe my boyfriend could be Burt.) I have a blouse, and I just won a skirt off ebay. If you are going on the 20th and spot a Poppins wearing a birthday pin- that would be me. :)

We're going with a little Aurora. Now we need to think of a couple adult costumes to go along with her choice. Something simple, it will still be very hot compared to what we are used to, so heavy costumes are out. Help!

AngieBelle, that is what hubby and I are going as for MNSSHP - Alice and the Mad Hatter!
I found someone who is making my costume and we have most of hubby's already put together.

So if anyone sees a Alice and Mad Hatter on the 3rd stop and say HI!

Hi. we ( myself ) , DH, DD(11) are going to our very first MNSSHP on the 12th.
The 12th will be our daughters 12th birthday---No better way to celebrate than with Mickey.

We will be dressing up. Myself and daughter in orange minis ( not to short of course :) ) with long black gloves and I will wear fishnets. We have these really cool spider web pill box hats.
My husband will be in orange shirt with spiderweb on it.

We are flying down so we have to wear things that can be packed easily.
