Adults- do you know Nika, a bartender?

We had Nika as our favorite bartender on the Fantasy in October of 2015. Is she still on the Fantasy, and if so which bar or bars.

I was on Fantasy this past summer, patronized all the bars, and do not recall a bartender named Nika. Doesn't mean that person is not there, they could have been off that week or something.

Nika was on the Fantasy in late June, but wasn't involved in as many of the tastings as she had been the summer before. I think she only conducted the Rum tasting (if I recall correctly) on our cruise this year. She told us she was working in Ooh La La and Palo at the time.

Your best bet will be to ask a bartender when on board. They get moved around during their contracts so that they all have chances to be at the "busy" or "high tip" bars.

Just got back from the 4-night Canadian cruise on the Magic, and Nika was the head bartender in Keys. Had 2 mixology classes with her and our group hung out with her in Keys every night. She was FANTASTIC and fun to interact with on board. Sadly, she shared with us that our cruise was her LAST cruise on her contract and with DCL. Turned in her credentials this morning and is on her way back to her home country of Slovenia where she hopes to rest some and then teach at a ski resort there. She will certainly be missed by those of us who enjoy DCL, but very happy for her as she transitions to this new phase in her life. Glad we had the chance to meet her and share a few laughs.

We were on the 5-night Canadian cruise before yours and also had a mixology class with her. I'm so glad we got to meet her as she introduced us to the Irish Mojito! We went back and sat and talked with her one night and she never mentioned she was leaving. I wish her well in her new phase of life.

Does anyone have (or remember) the recipe for the Irish Mojito? It was my wife's favorite and we can't seem to nail it. I've searched the internet, but all of those seems not to be the one that Nika introduced us to during our cocktail class and not nearly as tasty.

I don't know the exact measurements, we make them all the time but we "eyeball" it lol. It's fresh mint, lime slices and agave nectar muddled, then add Jameson and top with apple juice. We went back and had her give us the recipe. She only gave us the ingredients, no specific measurements. She also said you can use simple syrup or any sweetener in place of agave nectar, but we use the agave nectar because we wanted to make sure it was exactly like the one we did in mixology since we loved it so much (became our drink of the cruise).
