I'm not sure if there is a thread on here already about this, but I could not find it. Is it creepy or weird if 3 adults want to go to character meals? I have only been to Disney once every and I'm 30, one of the other adults has only been once since she was a kid and that was like 30 years ago and the other adult is early 20's and he hasn't been since he was a kid either. Needless to say we want to do it up like we are kids. We just want to know if this is something we should do and where you think we should go. We are considering Cinderella's Royal Table for lunch and 1900 Park Fare for breakfast, but that's it. We don't want to do a ton of them.
Thanks

go ahead and make any reservation you want. meet the characters, take pictures, stand in line for dumbo, stake out spots for parades and illuminations...
disney if for EVERYONE! kids love it, but so do adults!!
have fun!:yay::banana:

My sister and BIL and I have gone each year for years now and my Mother used to go until she 87..when she passed two years ago but was at the Halloween Party three months before and loving every minute of it ;).and we all love character breakfasts and if we can find them character dinners. it is part of it for us and we are 63-64 and 68 now days:worship: we do it up like kids alright each and every trip. we have a WDW rule --what happens in Disney stays in Disney :lmao: how about Tusker House for Donald safari breakfast and Cape May in the Beach club for breakfast with Goofy and his pals.and over to HS or Crystal Palace any meal with Winnie the Pooh and friends or in HS Hollywood and Vine has character breakfast that is good and has Dora or Handy Mandy...the ones you listed are also very good and Norway has Princess also...one that is fun but is not character is Whispering Canyons Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge it is family style and is cowboy themed and is so much fun can get there by taking the boat outside MK to the WL...and another is O Hana's it has Lilo and stich and is very good breakfast...there is Chef Mickeys but we have cut that off our list as service and food has not been good lately...have a great trip:dance3:

My husband and I just had an Anniversary Dinner at Goofy's Kitchen! It was wonderful, we got no weird looks or anything, the Fairy Godmother even signed our autograph book "Happy 1st Anniversary!"

I say go for it!

I do the charactor meals & have a great time.

my husband and I just took a kidless trip and we did 3 character meals. We got tons of pictures and had a great time.

As others have said, it is fine. I took my parents (late 50s) and sister (31) to 1900 for breakfast last year and my parents probably had more fun than some of the kids there.

Again this past June, I took my sister to three character meals and we had great fun and interaction with the characters.

I am going solo in November and happened upon a CRT lunch for my last day and booked it. This will be the first solo character I have done, but I expect it to be just as fun as when I am with others. (Well semi-solo as my cousin is now joining me for the first two days of my five day trip, but the character meal will be solo.)

As others have said.... Go for it. Have a blast. Enjoy being a big kid and a great meal.

That being said.... There are a ton of adults who choose to eat (without kids) at CRT not because it's a character meal, but because it's inside the castle. The experience of being able to be inside Cindy's Castle is worth it even without the characters.

(Me and my DGF are eating there in November and neither of us are big character hunters.)

Thanks everyone.....that makes me feel sooo much better. I didn't want to go to Disney and not go to some great character meals. We are going to go to 1900 for the characters, but the Royal Table is all for being inside the castle. Thanks again!!!!!

We went as a party of two adults for our 25th anniversary and did alot of character meals. The characters were very gracious about posing with us!

DH and I are doing breakfast at Akershus - mostly for DH's benefit. He's not a huge Disney fan, but when I mentioned breakfast with the princesses you should have seen his face!

My DH and I have been to DW many times in our 7 years of marriage. Just the two of us have been to Liberty Tree twice when it used to have characters. We also did 1900 Park and my husband got a big kick out of it. I have also gone to Crystal Palace with my DH and my parents. Tigger insisted that I kiss him on the nose and I still blame him for giving me what I still refer to as the Tigger Flu a couple of days later, luckily on the last day of our trip.

You are going to absolutely love breakfast in the castle! The food was amazing!!! We did this breakfast with DH, my parents, sis, BIL, and niece. I would completely consider doing this breakfast again with just DH. I have been fascinated with the castle since my first trip as a teenager.

With all of that said.....Have a great time at your character meals!!!!

I am the biggest kid ever - and I love character meals! My hubby and I go to them often - it's a lot of fun, and the characters are wonderful! We especially like the character meals for celebrations (birthday, anniversary, honeymoon) because the characters really act up a lot. And might I mention, that I am a huge Alice in Wonderland fan, and "Alice" always compliments my themed shirts I wear to 'her' breakfast :) (I have quite the collection....lol)

I love going to character meals. My DH doesn't mind going along, but he's not as excited as I am. So, the characters mostly just interact with me and he takes the pics.

We're a family of six adults and we still go to character meals and have a great time. We had a particularly fantastic set of interactions with the characters at Garden Grill last trip. We're booked for Chef Mickey's (to change things up a little) this time around!

My girlfriend and I are doing Crystal Palace for lunch in two weeks and we are 40 (me) and 27 (her). I remember going to Crystal Palace as a child. In fact, one of my earliest Disney memories is eating in the Crystal Palace (spaghetti of all things) and this must have been in the mid-70s. I wanted to have that experience again so I see no issues with going as just two adults.

Never too old to enjoy anything at Disney

Dance around

Laugh

Wear silly outfits :santa: :wizard: pirate:

The only question should be " How many pictures can we take with the characters "

Enjoy your Character time :goodvibes

We do character meals on every visit. It's Disney you've paid your money...enjoy yourself. Donald Duck fed my wife and spent a great deal of time with us at Chef Mickey's. It was awesome!
