I took my kiddos to the local carnival last night, I figured when we go to DL my DD(5) really wouldn't care about riding the big rides I think she is tall enough to ride everything now I haven't measured her in a while...but last night she really surprised me she rode ALL of the rides at the Carnival the ones that went upside down and everything so I have a feeling she will want to try Screaming HOWEVER their dad is not a coaster person....could I use the ride swap for me to be able to take both of my kids (they are 6&5 so can't ride alone) if I can't convince their dad to try it?

They can both ride with you. They would put them in the row in front of you together. As long as you are in the same ride vehicle, you can ride together.

Screamin has a height requirement of 48 inches' so your 5 year old likely won't be tall enough. My DD6, turning 7 soon, is 47 and a half inches right now without shoes on (wasn't allowed on the water slide at our local pool that requires 48 inches barefoot) and is really hoping to be able to ride it in August.

I'm glad you found a solution, but to answer your question directly, I don't think you can. The Rider Swap is intended for individuals that do not meet the height requirement. Since that does not seem to fit your situation, I don't believe you can use the switch pass.

What you can do though is get a FP with your husband's pass as well and then use all 4, 2 at a time. Either way, the Screamin' line moves pretty fast, one of the many things I like about that ride.

Since kids are different, there is a good chance they may make it. My nephews made the 48" rides at 6 and a half (rode in July, birthdays in Dec) and they tend to be on the small side. My granddaughter hit the 40" mark at 2.5 years, and at 3 years 3 months is 43". I expect she will probably be riding before she is 5.

Last time I measured her she was actually pretty close to it my 6 year old is already well over it and she is about caught up to him I am going to try to measure her sometime over the weekend

Assuming your 5 year old is 48", I would get FPs and use those. I wouldn't have the littles sit together, not on that ride. On Screamin' it's so important to look straight ahead at launch, and sometimes there's a bit of a wait before launch. I found it to be important to be able to remind my son to look straight ahead (while I, myself, looked straight ahead of course). If you're looking around before launch your head gets sort of stuck, and it can be painful for the first part of the ride if you're in a wonky head position.
