I’ve never seen any measurement, nor have I ever measured it. But I think the videos you’ve seen might be misleading. The pool might be as much as the 8 meters you mentioned 10 seems a bit too high. The pools all seem pretty small.
I do not know the dimensions of the pool but I will say the overall size is deceiving as the total size of the pool includes a shallow area all around it. The deeper portion of the pool you can actually swim is going to be smaller than any dimensions you may find.
I watched a guy (built like a swimmer: tall, big shoulders) work out in the adult pool one morning. For 30+ minutes he did two strokes flipped and two more strokes. Looked like he was practicing his flip and push-off more than swimming.

The shallow area is to contain the pool water in rough seas. I saw a segment on the Travel Channel explaining why cruise ship pools are small. Weight, and that is especially a factor on pools on upper decks. Water weights a lot and they can't have that much weight that far up in a ship. Especially weight that is moving around in rough seas.
The old Trans-Atlantic ships like the Norway (built as the France) had a wonderful indoor on almost the lowest deck, so weight and balance weren't an issue. My wife and I often had that pool to ourselves on our cruises on the Norway. Got our swim in and didn't need sunscreen.
Weight IS an issue... remember 1 gallon (milk jug) weighs about 8 pounds.
If the pool is about 14 x 28 feet and 3.5 feet deep (the adult pool is probably a little deeper) that is about 10,300 gallons or 82,400 pounds of water!! or 470 adults averaging 175 pounds each
I have a stationary swim trainer to use for small hotel pools. Basically, it's just resistance bands that you attach to yourself and then a pool ladder and you can swim without going anywhere. You can buy them on Swimoutlet.com
