Adult Ordering Off Kids Menu?????

Probably a silly question, but I like to have all of my ducks in a row.

DBF would love California Grill.
I'm a rather picky eater (mostly meat and potatoes) and have several food allergies including fish/shellfish (which eliminates a good portion of the menu).
I would love to go order the BBQ Chicken Flatbread as an appetizer and the kids steak and potatoes as my entree and possibly a dessert.

So, will they give me a hard time about ordering a kids meal?

My wife used to always order the child's (4oz) filet at the old Concourse Steak House, and she would get the full meal at the child's price.

We ate at the California Grill this past Thursday and my niece is also a picky eater. She ordered the adult fillet of beef and the waiter suggested substituting the roasted potatoes and green beans for the sides. She really enjoyed it!

I've ordered the steak off the children's menu at LeCellier......
perfect portion size for a light eater
