The only place we had a problem was at Storytellers breakfast, once in December (not every breakfast there or the dinner).
We were not having the buffet, we were ordering off the menu. My son, who had just turned 10 was not allowed to order off the child's menu. I said that he had been ordering off the child's menu the whole holiday (except at the buffets, that is adult price obviously) and the server was so rude and said that nobody is allowed to order off the childs menu if they are over 9. I did explain that we had been there for almost two weeks, had been eating 3 meals a day at TS restaurants (including there at Storytellers) and this was the first time that he has not been allowed to order a childs meal.
She said that it was not true and that nobody over 9 is allowed to order off any childs menu at
Disneyland. "Not True", I think we would know if he ordered off the childs menu at, to name a few, Blue Bayou, the little pirate hat, Carnation Cafe and at storytellers about 4 times before, including dinner the night before!.
So he ordered off the adults menu, but asked for a plain waffle just with syrup, nothing else and she didn't do it, it came as it was on the menu. She wouldn't even alter the meal to suit him (we didn't expect the price to be lowered). She was plain rude!
