I'm really enjoying this thread as I'll be heading back to work tomorrow after enjoying a great summer!
I often make pasta salad on a weekend and take it throughout the week. I use whole wheat pasta, veggies, pepperoni and bottled Italian salad dressing. With that I take a fruit and sometimes a cheese stick or pretzels to munch on. Sometimes I take a sandwich like ham and cheese or chicken and cheese or egg salad with a fruit and again usually pretzels. Once I start making big pots of soup like chili, vegetable beef, ham and bean I'll start taking soup to work and eat it with crackers. Usually by the middle of the school year I'm pretty bored of the things mentioned above so I start looking for alternatives. Hopefully I'll find some ideas here.
