Is it considered creepy? I'm probably putting my own hangups into it but I kinda want to meet Anna and Elsa. :lmao:

I will be visiting Disney for a week at the end of January and I will be visiting Epcot on my 42nd birthday :woohoo:. I may have a buddy with me (who doesn't know about this plan yet) or he may be still sleeping when I hit up the park so I might be there solo. Anyways, just wondered what the general thought would be. I'm pretty introverted so doing this is a bit outside my comfort zone.

Thanks for your thoughts

Matt

As long as you treat the princesses with respect, I think you have as much right to meet them as anyone else does.

Saw them today, they're super sweet, I don't think they'd think it was weird at all. Be warned it's a long wait. 2 hr minimum, and that's if you go straight there at rope drop.

I'm a 26 year old male. Meet the princesses alone. No problem. They interact with you just as well

I say go for it. I firmly believe that the Disney characters enjoy interacting with adults just as much as they do children.

It's only creepy if you make it creepy. That goes for everyone, regardless of age or gender.

If you're stressing about it, think about what you might want to say before hand. I've seen all sorts of people take pictures with the characters so if you want to, go ahead.

Well I'm doing it. I'm currently the (not that) old guy waiting in line to meet Anna and Elsa.

I met Ariel the other night which turned out a little awkward but it was a nice picture. This one will hopefully be less awkward.

It was a 3 hour wait but Anna and Elsa were awesome and made me feel completely comfortable. Glad I did it.

Just bow and kiss their hand.

And be prepared to run when their Prince sees you. ;)

I've seen some pretty good interactions between the Princes and male guests (of all ages), along with some good ones between the Princesses and female guests that want pics with the Princes.

And yes, the only way it's creepy is if you make it creepy. Just like with any character interaction, respect is the way to go.

I wasnt alone (was with the gf), but I accidentally got in line to meet Ariel at MK, thinking it was the line for the little mermaid ride. Then we pop into the room with Ariel, haha.

It was awkward, but she was very nice. I don't think you would have any problems.

Nice pics! Glad it went well
This is what Disney is all about! :thumbsup2

DFi got his picture alone with Jasmine and Belle. I was with him, so maybe that made him feel more comfortable...though he sure didn't LOOK shy. Puffed out his chest for the pictures and everything haha

I'm sure most guys who genuinely want to meet the Princesses are probably as giggly as the little girls waiting, and the Princesses will find it sweet and endearing. If you hit on them, they will probably still be polite but will be happy when the picture is finished...and then they would think its creepy and weird haha

I think you really should go and see them. I think the princesses like having adult guests come to see them also.

Then there is the very cute picture of guys with princesses!

Older guy wants meet fantasy Disney characters, in a themed setting, played by female cast members.
Not creepy.

Older guy uses themed setting as the ruse to meet female cast members, dressed as fantasy princess characters.
Kind of creepy.

Sounds like your heart's in the right place. But I have friends who've portrayed princesses and there's occasionally a guest who wants to get to know the princess on a deeper level. If the cast member thinks you're cute, you might have a shot. But if you want Belle to think you're cute -- cause you fell in love with Belle ever since she stood up to Gaston in that poor provincial town --you might have some issues getting her to ditch the Beast.
