Haven't heard any good reports about adult entertainment since MJ got back.....how's the evening agenda in winter months? Please!!!...this is the worst winter ever!.............What's up on the ships in evening entertainment?

The Dueling Pianos rule!!

For a quieter time, sessions has a wonderful piano player.

These two keep us busy and happy after dinner. There is other adult entertainment also, but we loved the above.

Depends if it's the Magic or Wonder. On the Magic in January, Match Your Mate and Magicquest were two of the most hilarious versions I've ever seen! Of course, a lot of that is the luck of the draw on who the contestants are. Match Your Mate is offered on the Wonder, too (and it's been pretty wild on there as well), but on our cruise last weekend, we were told that they no longer do Wonderquest. I'm guessing that's because it didn't get a good turnout because it was on Nassau Deck Party Night. 70's night is on both ships and is one of my favorite adult experiences. I prefer 80's night on the Magic or the 4-night Wonder because the main stage dancers do some choreographed dances. They were absent on the 3-day Wonder...our theory is that it's because 80's night is the last day of the 3-day, and they have to do the Disney Dreams matinee and the farewell appearance, so doing 80's night too would be a bit much.

Do they constantly rotate the piano players between ships and Jellyrolls? Our first exposure to dueling pianos was on the Wonder in "01 and it was Cody and ? I thought they were so talented and didn't realize that it was at WDW also.

We'll definately catch several shows this cruise and also hope to check out Jellyrolls on our August trip to BCV!

Hey Jo....I was thinking the same thing....no one seems to be reporting on any of theme nights lately...could everyone be so tired that they are hitting the hay early???? I LOVE ALL THE THEME NIGHTS!!!!

My vote is dueling pianos with Jeff and Fidelio on the Magic..:teeth: They are wonderful and if you are willing to particpate a little, it will add to the show.

If you are going soon, please tell Jeff, WAKEFIELD said hi!

As I was reading the "Post Subjects" I noticed..."Adult Entertainment" . I have to say, I had to laugh. If this was anyother board I would be mortified. "Adult Entertainment" means something TOTALLY different for us Disers.:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

FIDELIO ROCKS AND RULES in Dueling Pianos! Great voice, great hands and great personality!

Won the vote as best entertainment with Mom (age 74), me (age 47) and Michael (age 7) - now that's quite a multigenerational audience!

Also tell Jeff and Fidelio that Jersey says hi!!!!

I was telling Jeff that we had heard great things about the Dueling Pianos on the disboards and he said he was going to take a look.

With Fidelio and Jeff, there is no need for any other entertainment.

Hi Nancy, how are you guys doing?

Hi Sue,

We are hanging in there but this weather is crazy. Can't believe that just 2 weeks ago, we were at beautiful CC!! How are you and Kevin doing? I hope you are feeling better. I'm finally getting over my cold.

We finally sent Jeff a postcard from Wakefield! He should have it in a few days. Maybe we'll hear back from him with some news about the happenings on the Magic.

Just back from the Magic last week Western..

We did not go to this guy but saw him at the Farewell variety show, very, very funny and talented, his name is Chuck Gunter, does comedy and juggling. He does 2 shows 7:45pm for family and 10:30 for adults. His show ran on Tuesday at Rockin' Bar D.
And there was also Michael Harrison with comedy and ventriloquism. Has 2 shows also 7:45 family and 10:15 for the adults, we saw the family show and it was so packed in Rockin' Bar D we had to sit on the floor DM and DF saw the adult show and they could not stop talking about it for days, this show ran on Thursday.
Also, your gonna want to check out the "Johnny Danger Band" every deck party and at Rockin' Bar D, had a chance to talk with him for a while, he has been doing this gig for about 3 years. We remember him from last year, his wife is the assistant cruise director. Think that is some good adult entertainment.. hope this helps.

LOL, Tracy!!!
The surial bath has popped into my wicked little mind. ;)
And of course the verandah club could be considered adult entertainment too (or family entertainment if you aren't discreet and the family in the neighboring stateroom catches you).

Thx Norm, it's nice to know that the clubs are still swinging while WE ARE IN THE LONGEST, MOST MISERABLE, SICKIST WINTER EVVVVVERRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!....not that i'm complaining!

anybody just back with some updates.........us DISers are going thru Adult nights withdraw..........are the 50/60s, 70s and 80s nights still going strong....SOMEONE STAYED UP DIDN'T THEY?????

jlawall...

If you read my trip reports you'll know that my friends and I were up dancing or kareoke'ing every night of our cruise last week. Our earliest night was kareoke night when we retired around 1am. And that was because we couldn't stand hearing one obnoxious guy who was being rude all night. But, at least on the 3 night, there is definitely nightlife for the adults to enjoy.

Mom (74) would tuck me (46) in before 10 then go party! There definitely was a nightlife out there!!!!! At least for some of us!

Rae

PLease!!!!!!!!!!WE NEED AN UPDATE....or we will begin to think that THERE IS NO NIGHTLIFE IN WINTER ON THE MAGIC!

We're just back from the February 8th Eastern. With Jeff and Fidelio onboard, there is no need for anything else. We went to see them every night and had a fantastic time. They ROCK!! We also went to the 50's and the 70's parties and they were excellent. We didn't make it to the 80's night because we were busy watching Jeff and Fidelio... There was also a late night deck party at the Tropicalifragalisticexpealidocious night (I think it started around 11 p.m.). Plus, the Rockin Bar D was great.... There is definitely lots to do.

Annie12345 -
Glad to know that Fidelio is still "tinkling the ivories" on the Magic - that man can play, sing and entertain! We saw him with Tamara and she was excellent - can't wait til our next cruise!!!

DS (7) wants him to "autograph" the picture I have of them together!! He's a big fan - but then so are his Mother (me) and Grandmother (Lilly)!

FIDELIO ROCKS!

Rae

Uh, yes, there was PLENTY of nightlife on the Magic in December! :p It got to the point where the entertainment crew KNEW us and I got picked out of the crowd on numerous occasions. We danced our booties off every night, went to all the theme nights, tons of the game shows, did Dueling Pianos and Sessions many times too. I was Gloria Gaynor on 70s night, we got picked to be in the twist contest on 50s night, dance to the Time Warp on 80s night etc. etc. The nightlife on the ship is alive and WELL. :teeth:
