Adult children in room?

Turns out that DD (19) and DS (23) need some of that old Disney magicpixiedust: , so they have decided to fly down and join us at CR for a few nights of our vacation in September:scared1: . (Luckily, younger DD will be starting college:teacher: and can't take off!). My question is this: Because my kids are technically adults, do we have to pay extra for the room? Does anybody know this? Sorry if this question has been addressed elsewhere. I have been searching all around and can't seem to find the answer and since I've been calling almost every day to see if there is a code attached to my name, I am kind of called-out at the moment. Thanks for any help!

Unfortunately, yes, they're adults, so you have to shell out the extra $$$.

HOWEVER, sometimes.... if you wait until they get there before you go down and inform the front desk.... they will just give you the extra room keys and not charge you. It really depends on who's working, though. No guarantees.

Otherwise, if you go ahead and put them on your reservation now, you'll definitely have to pay.

Yowzers! DD is a college student but the funny thing is that DS (23) is very gainfully employed but somehow...Mom still pays at the World! :rotfl: I don't begrudge it, though. I was actually really happy that they want to tag along. Maybe free dining? Fingers crossed. And I will definitely not add them as guests now...dates could change...who knows, they could wind up taking over the whole trip! Thank you for the info!

There is an additional charge per night for each adult over 2 in the room, last time I checked it was $10.00 at the values, $15.00 at the moderates and $25.00 at the deluxe resorts.

I would however suggest that you do put everyone on the reservation so you don't end up with a king bed and 4 adults. :confused3 You can always modify the # of people later according to the dates they actually join you.

My sister lives in the area and sometimes joins us for a night or two. We have always included the extra adult on the reservation and even had the extra fees waived a few times. We have also only been charged for the nights she actually stayed vs the entire reservation.

I just realized, thanks to your post, that I had requested a king bed! This was obviously before I got hit by my magic-seekers! Thank you...I have a phone call to go make!
