In one gone to Disney for their Birthday as an adult? If so did you enjoy it?
Which place is a good place to go for lunch and dinner for a birthday? Also whick places will I need to call to make a lunch or dinner reservations. I am trying to get info before I make any for sure plans.

I celebrated my birthday this last trip to Disney. I got a birthday button at City Hall at MK and wore it all day. I got lots of Happy Birthdays from cast members and when we walked into Epcot, one of the CM's at the gate said "Excuse me, miss, but there is a phone call for you." When I took the phone, it was a birthday call from Goofy! I also got a lot of attention from Minnie Mouse when my DD5 went to get her autograph. Minnie wanted everyone in line to sing Happy Birthday to me!

At first I felt a little self-conscious being a parent and celebrating my birthday, but after a bit, I really enjoyed it! It felt like I had a huge extended family helping me celebrate!

My DH and I celebrated my 50th birthday at Disney the first week of September (September 1 - 9). When we arrived at the Coronado, I was given a birthday button, balloons and a birthday card. The CM told me to enjoy my special occasion and to wear the button every day to the parks...which I did (hey, I only turn 50 once!). Every sit down meal, I was presented with a cake and candle and singing; at the Crystal Palace for the Winnie-the-Pooh character breakfast, they had decorated my table with Mickey confetti, ribbons and a flower and presented me with a birthday card signed by Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet; every CM at a ride wished me a happy birthday; I received two phone calls from Goofy. Other Disney guests walking around the parks would see my button and wish me a happy birthday; they also wished me a "Happy Birthday Princess Kathy" as we were landing on Aladdin; and the CM at Snow White deemed me an honorary princess for the day and gave me a princess sticker and pixie dust. It was great fun.

my wife and dd took me for my 40th this past april . i had a great time.:cool2:

We've never been for a birthday - but You should definately do it if that's what you want. Get you one of those birthday pins, wear it on your shirt - and guaranteed the dis cast will treat you just as special as they do the birthday kids.

Its your dis - you can do what you want!! :goodvibes

My mom and I went for my birthday last year....I mentioned it to the CM when I was making our ADR's, just in very casual passing. This was before I was aware of the DIS, and I wasn't as addicted to all things Disney as I am now. I didn't know that they did things for birthdays, etc. When we got to the hotel to check in, they gave me a button, a few days later, I got balloons and a call from Mickey and Minnie. It was great fun!! So much so that we are going back - three weeks from now!:yay:

I told my husband that for my 40th I didn't want a party, just a vacation. He agreed and told me to choose anywhere. I, naturally chose my favorite place in the world -- WDW :cheer2:

In just a few short months I plan on having quite the celebration

So I say go for it and have a blast!

Leaving Saturday for a birthday trip with my best friend. I told them when I made ADR's and told them when I made room ressies, so we'll see what we get.

I was 40 this year and had planned on being in WDW for my 40th well things happen and I wasnt:guilty: I felt very fed up I really wanted breakfast with Tigger.
Well we ARE going in 2009, have even booked the villa, we will be going for 3 weeks...and it will be another big birthday for me...it will be my 2nd 21st..lol...so will have lots of fun celebrating all the birthdays I couldnt make it to the world for..Have fun

Everyone has made me so good about wanting to go to WDW for my birthday. You all made it easier to say lets do it.

I was there for my birthday last year. Got the pin at my resort and headed out early for a birthday breakfast at Cape May Cafe. They let me ring the bell to wake goofy and I was a total goon when he came to my table. :P

They sent me away with a birthday cake, which I stored in our locker for lunch time while we spent the rest of the day at epcot. It was also my honeymoon and my first disney visit, so you can imagine I was decked out with pins, lol. A CM at Mission space noticed and she gave me the tinker bell pin set for a present. :)

We finally ended the day at Chef's Du France, where I was given a second birthday cake, lol.

All in all it was an awsome day!

I went last year for my 34th birthday. We ate at the Cinerella one at the Grand floridian (i can't remember the name). The table was decorated and I was given a happy birthday crown to wear and a cupcake. The server sang with us and Cindy's mice were dancing as we sang. I felt very special it was fun. I did get the birthday pin. I was going to wear it every day of our trip but after the first day of everyone wishing me a happy birthday- I felt kind-of silly and I only wore it on my actual birthday day after that. Nothing was delivered to my room- but I wasn't expecting it and DH would have never thought to ask for anything for me.
