Adult beverages

I always get a Malibu Baybreeze if I'm out.
It's Malibu rum, pineapple and a splash of cranberry.
Love it!

If it's a Mexican restaurant I get a margarita, but otherwise it's the above, all the time.:thumbsup2

Grey Goose Gimlet. Sometimes I like to change it up a bit and do Stoli Razz Gimlet...yum.

My favorite drink is a LI Iced tea, but I also like martinis, Amaretto sours and Malibu bay breezes.

Everclear is a great choice. Mind Erasers are good, as is Absinthe but you can't get the real stuff here in the states. Can't go wrong with a good couple of shots of vodka as well.

Get a shot of Jagermeister. The youngun's won't know what to think.
But if I just want a

locolala- I got some Absinthe, tried straining it over the sugar,, just cant get the taste right- maybe I need to buy the special glasses?

Add cinnamon, and light with a match for effect. :thumbsup2

I enjoy
Vodka and lemoncello
vodka tonic with a lime
kamikazi on the the rocks
mojito
ameratto sour

My go to drink when I'm out is a tanqueray (gin) & tonic - almost always a double for me with extra lime.

If I'm ordering a drink I usually get Maker's Mark and Coke or a Screwdriver, depending on my mood.

If red wine is your thing then order that. Not sure why you'd worry about ordering something different unless you want to expand your horizons.

Canadian whiskey...do they really market that as being something uber special here?! I'm Canadian but I live in the US now. I just don't get all the replies of "Canadian Whiskey" being special. Matter of fact Canadians call it rye, not whiskey. Though we know it as both. Maybe you (general you) think of Canadian whiskey as Crown Royal since that's more high end?! :confused3

I think that's probably it, for me, anyway. I love Crown Royal.

:thumbsup2 Except I prefer Beefeater!

Beefeater is good too. I've got a half bottle of that left in the cabinet right now. I may have to try the Bombay Sapphire gin the next time I'm out. A friend suggested it and I've not been out to try it yet.

I can't drink beer, but I love wine. If I'm out somewhere that it would be weird if I ordered wine, I'll go for a SoCo & Cranberry (don't knock it til you've tried it!) or a Whiskey Sour...YUM!
