Adult Beverages???

So beer and other adult beverages are not included in your ticket cost? I thought DC was an all inclusive day? Any recent experience?

AB products are free. I know the beer and wine coolers are free. (See next post)

We’ve got all your dining needs covered all day long. Enjoy great food—like grilled salmon. Try the Cajun jambalaya for something spicy or a mouthwatering burger. From our first-class restaurant to plentiful drinks and snacks throughout the park, everyone in the family can easily find what they want anytime. For guests over the age of 21, your all-inclusive day also includes premium Anheuser-Busch products.

I sent an email to DC earlier today regarding other adult beverages and already heard back.

Dear ***,
Thank you for contacting Discovery Cove. We appreciate the opportunity in
assisting our guests.

Not a problem. We do provide frozen drinks (Margarita, Strawberry Daiquiri or Pina Colada) for $6.38 each or $10.38 each with a souvenir cup.

I hope this information was helpful. Please do not hesitate to contact us at
1-877-4DISCOVERY if we can be of further assistance.

Best Regards,

Hope this helps. ;)

We just returned from our vacation and were at Discovery Cove on Friday! We had an amazing day. Yes, the beer is free. The Bud Light Lime was a refreshing choice on a hot day. My son enjoyed the frozen slushies - lemonade and cherry were the choices. The adult frozen drinks had a charge.

Glad you had a great day! DC is amazing! We are hoping to go on our next visit. I booked our resort the other day for 9/27 to 10/6 and DC would only be $149 with AMEX Discount. Now we might change to late Oct. and the best I can do at DC is $199. Still a good deal, but $100 more than I was hoping to spend.

Both myself and my BF plan on having a beer or two at the parks, glad to hear they have BL Lime it's my fav! :drinking1

About "wine coolers": anheiser busch doesn't make wine coolers, in fact, pretty much no one does. The things we all call "wine coolers" are actually malt liquor beverages, which is, in fact, beer. Beer with fruity flavors, but beer.

I only bring you this Cliff Claven moment in case anyone else reading this is like me, allergic to beer. (sucks for me, eh?)

It would be great if you could really get wine mixed with things...sangria, wine spritzers, etc in a can or bottle but you can't.......and those Bacardi things that AB sells aren't made with rum either! It's all malt liquor.

Boohiss, because you can count me in as one who likes to drink on my vacation. Thankfully I'm able to do so without dehydrating myself by drinking water too. Did you know caffiene drinks like cola will dehydrate you too? If you have a problem with staying hydrated it's best to stick with water. I like to alternate between alcohol and water and it works for me. :thumbsup2
