Adult Badges

Okay, I'm a big kid at heart especially when it comes to disney . We will be going in August and I was wondering if there are adults out there that wear badges and what kind of attention does it bring them? Also how about any men out there, wondering about purchasing one for dh?

We wore our GOH badges every day. DH, myself and my stepdaughter. My husband and I got called by name from alot of the CM's especially from Security checking bags. They kind of got a giggle out of it. Alot of CM's wanted to know where we got the gold ones. We had a few good laughs when other guests thought we were CM's. One guy started to go off on me about POC going down earlier in the day, until I told him I was a guest.

They were fun to wear. Have a good time

On my last trip, my niece (she's five) and I got GOH badges and alot of CM's called us by name (which was nice...and a little surprising when you forget you have the badge on! ) It was so fun to watch my niece though, because every time a CM called her by name she looked at me like "How the heck does he know my name?" GOH badges are fun to wear for little kids and big kids alike!

We wore our GOH badges on our trips last year and in January. We LOVE them! You definitely get a lot of attention from the CM. I have to laugh...I (no one else in our party of 4) had SEVERAL people on several occasions think I was a CM (we wear them on our oin trading lanyards). Once when my DS was pin trading with the cm directing traffic at the TTA entrance, I had an older woman ask me if this was a roller coaster...I assured her that it was not and that she would LOVE the TTA...the cm got a kick out of this. Then we were in line at RnRC, and someone asked me a question about wether I thought she would have enought time to do RnRC and use her fast pass for another attraction...I told her not to worry about it because they gave you an hour time frome for your fast pass and she would have plenty of time. Well she said that her fast pass only had a 15 min. window. I, having never gotten a fast pass for a "show" with set times, didn't know that they are for only 15 min. The same lady found me in the line again and shwed me a fast pass for Beauty. I told her she had better got to it if she wanted to see it, as the show time was fast approaching (and the stand by at RnRC was long). The rest of my party wer standing there just silently giggling at me. I actually enjoyed it myself. Get one and have fun with them! I plan on getting us the gold ones when we go next month!

Where to you get the GOH badges (regular & gold)? I am going in November for MY birthday and would like to get them for my family.

This gives me a great idea! I walk to the end of the standby line wearing my GOH badge and instruct everyone waiting 1 1/2 hours for Soarin' that the ride is temporarily closed for the day, thus giving my family quick access to the front of the line. Genius!!
