Adukts only DLR...Thoughts?

Congrats! You will have a blast. Check out doing the Chef's Counter at Napa Rose. It was a great experience and so much fun talking with the chefs (which did result in some extra of the appetizers I started raving about :thumbsup2).

We always have gone with kids... We are closing in on the 30-day mark... Anything new / diff we should pack or bring - finalizing our packing list? We've always taken a clear vinyl backpack into parks - needed one for diapers, snacks etc for kids but added benefit that it keeps stuff dry and now I'm torn - to take or not to take???

I am not so secretly harboring wishes to spend our 25th at DLR in the Fairy Tale Suite. My DH and I love to just wander. Oh, what a wonderful trip that would be,

DH and I just did this for our 10th anniversary. It was sooo much fun! Yes, there were times I kept thinking of the kids and thinking how much fun they would have, but at the same time, going without them was a BLAST! Don't get me wrong - I love my kids and just got back from a family trip to DL a couple weeks ago, but it was soooo nice when it was just DH and me and to not have to deal with potty breaks, melt downs, and just plain tired, cranky kids. Plus, we got to ride the rides our kids were too short for or too scared to ride and not have to worry about rider swapping. DH and I had so much fun just the 2 of us this past July, we might even do it again this December! I would highly recommend it!

Myself and DH are childfree by choice and we are AP holders and enjoy the park immensely. We are both lifelong Disney fans and we enjoy it all. We do all the "kiddie" rides and look for Hidden Mickeys ; we enjoy lunch at the Cove Bar in DCA ; we take midday breaks at Trader Sams ; we walk trough DLH/GCH grounds and areas; we eat at Blue Bayou lunch first reservation and get a waterside table with ease ; we do Jungle Cruise/Story-land Canal Boats at night; We walk down rivers of America at closing and take it all in.

There are countless things to do on an adults only trip and we personally get our fill of the kids from others..lol. I think everyone should do it at least once.

We also recently started staying at the DLH and we now consider it our second home. DH loved the monorail slide more than most kids I know. We have now gotten to the point where if we don't stay there we would rather not go. The time we saved not parking/re parking/walking offsite/taking shuttles , etc and all the amenities we made use of just sealed it for us now.
Regardless where you choose to stay though a Disney adults only trip is awesome.

Our kids are grown up and all moved out. My DH and I are annual pass holders. We always have a great time. This spring we celebrated our 36 anniversary in Disneyland and we just got back from a quick weekend trip. I see plenty of child free couples in the park. We all have big smiles on our faces.
