When making ADR's either through MDE or via phone do you have to provide card details to back the booking even if you're on a Dining Plan ? Also are there any charges for cancelling reservations ?

I had to give credit card details for each of my adrs& we're on dining plan. It links in with the new cancellation policy.

It is to try & prevent no-shows as a $10 charge per person will be applied to the card in the event of a no-show. Cancellations have to be made by midnight the day before to avoid a charge.

There is a good thread about the cancellation policy on the restaurants board at the moment.

Yes, all ADRs require a credit card hold now. Most have a one day cancellation policy but a couple are 48 hours but it will clear when you book. Penalty is $10 per person if you cancel late or don't turn up.

If you are the DDP the pre-paid meals just have a CC hold rather than taking full payment.
