ADR's

Has anyone NOT made ADR's for every day? We have ADR's for Donald's breakfast and Chef Mickey's for dinner because DD7 picked those specifically. I do not like to have some place I have to be every day. To me that is not a vacation. How likely is it to get in to some of the TS restaurants (we are not picky) without ADR's? We are traveling in Sept. The only 2 places I see that I would really like to try are 50's Diner in HS and Biergarten at Epcot.

You are going during free dining.

TS will be virtually impossible to get on the spot; not impossible, but close.

If you want to eat @ a TS each day, you really should book now.

Last year they ran out of seatings and started offering people a CS meal, extra snack, and a sling bag in exchange for TS meals.

They also had to add extra venues/meals @ places they don't normally have them.

Maybe this year they did that in advance to help ease the burden, I don't know.

I understand the being tied down thing, but I would prefer to have a place to eat!!

TS meals will not be available for walk-ups. I was there in April during regualr dining and they weren't available then either. If you want a TS meal at Disney you need an ADR.

How is it a vacation if you're running from TS to TS hoping to find some place to eat. If you're not on the dining plan and are happy with counter service, you're fine. But you will NOT get into PTC and at Biergarten, you may get in with a 2 hour wait. I've seen this personally during free dining. Make those ADRs. Just think of it as one less decdision you have to make (where to eat) while running around the parks.

Out of the 2 places you mentioned..50's prime time is VERY popular .You are going during free dining , walk ups are near impossible then. I would make adrs and cancel should you choose to chg your mind
