I know that I can't make any ADR's for 90 days prior to my arrival, but at what time of day does that 90 days start. Midnight or 8:00 est? Could not get Ohana's last year and I am going to really try this year.

Also, anybody else looked at the June schedule yet? They have really cut back the parades and Fantasmic. One a night and several nights with no Fantasmic. Last year there were two a night of just about everything. Oh well, I guess money is tight. Taking away services isn't the way to keep people coming back IMHO.:sad2:

I think its actually 180 days before....you're late!!!! Hurry up!!!

Its 90 days + 10 if youre a resort guest, so you actually have 100 days....Im not sure when the "day" actually starts, but am interested to see if anyone else DOES know, thats an interesting question.

~~~EDIT~~~
I found this reservations calculator that may be helpful...
Disney Dining Date Calculator
And this may come in handy as well...
ADR Tips
I'd be willing to bet the "day" starts at 12:01am. Give it a shot - worst case they tell you to call back later in the day. ;)
Good luck!!
When I've made ADR's in the past, they opened the Disney Dining phone lines at 7:00 am ET. So, when I was able to get CRT ressies, I started calling at 5:50 CT and kept hitting redial until I entered the queue right at 6:00 CT. I had actually practiced dialing through the queue options the day before so I didn't waste time listening to the options. I could just hit the keys and navigate quickly to the point where a human comes on. Be ready to state your preference for the most difficult to get ADR first, and go from there.
Now, I'm not sure if the new system allows calls 24 hours/day, or if they have moved yet to an online system. Good luck!
I'm with Dave. Start calling a few minutes early. Sometimes the phone lines pop open a couple of minutes ahead of time. :thumbsup2
And he's right to start with the most difficult (or desired) ADR. Good luck.
Maybe someone can answer this here without me having to venture into the cold strange waters of the dining boards (LOL). I was under the impression that as a resorts guest you could make ADRs 90 days from your arrival date, like everyone else, but had the benefit of making them not just for that date but up to 10 days from that date. So, you couldn't actually call 100 days out from your arrival, but when you call on day 90 you could make ressies for day 90-100. Is this right, or can you call 100 days out?
You're right. Its the 90+10. :thumbsup2
Yes, you can call 90 days from your arrival, then make ADRs for up to 10 days into your trip. So, for example, if you were only staying 7 days, you could make ADRs for all 7 of your days in one phone call.
Ok, here is a follow-on, and I hope I'm not stirring evil desires in anyone by broaching the subject: my reservation is currently for Nov 28 - Dec 17, so 90 days out would be 8/30. On 8/30 I call and can make ADRs for Nov 28 - Dec 7, presumably after looking up my resort reservation. For the example, let's say I score CRT for Dec 7th. What happens if I then a few weeks later decide I need to cut a week from my ressie, and I cut Nov 28 - Dec 6. I assume there is no system tracking when the ADR was made that would invalidate it, right? And, here's the evil thought part, why wouldn't folks just make their initial reservations 10 days before they actually intend to arrive, make all of their ADRs 90 days out, and then cut their stay? Yes, I know, "because it is evil", but is there any other reason? Maybe people do and I'm just now realizing it? And who's to same that manipulating the machinations of a greedy corporate giant designed to consume college funds is evil to begin with? Just wondering?
Shan,
I would like to answer your question with a borrowed a quote from the well spoken, well versed, and articulate, "he who walks on water",,
"uhhh".
:lmao:
Coincidently my 90 day for my June trip is today. I hauled myself out of bed an hour early to make ADR's. I called at 6:59 by my cell phone clock and got the "our office is now closed message". I hung up, hit send again, it was now 7:00 and got right through. I called the grand gathering line as they have been better in the past for making ressies but today the cm transferred me to the dining line so maybe the "GG end around" is not a successful play anymore. I was able to make reservations for the whole trip but it is exacly 10 days long so I would probably not have been successful had I tried another day after that. She did check my reservation by my confirmation # to make sure I was coming when I said I was.
Shan man, I dont think your plan is wicked necessarily but it is definately pretty devious and would likely as not work without a hitch. However you would only be gaining an advantage on the "uber planners" arriving sometime during the 10 days before your actual arrival date who are staying long enough to require an ADR on the actual first day of your trip. Oh crap...now I'm confused.
By the way, what's a "college fund"?
