Hello,

I am just wondering what the average wait time is if you have an ADR? Does anyone have a guess. I mean do you have to still wait an hour to get in? Also, how long does it take to eat a buffets? Is planning 1 1/2 hours seem reasonable for wait time and eating or should I think like 2 1/2 hours?

It really depends on what time of year you are going, where you are going to eat and how many are in your party. My DH and I (and sometimes we travel with three other friends so our party would be 2-5 people) are normally seated within 5 minutes of arrival. We have never had to wait more than that. We do travel off season, we do go to dinner early (between 5-6pm) and we do eat mainly at signature restaurants. We have done Cape May and 1800 Park Fair buffets for dinner only but they were both so crowded that we have not gone back (1.5 hours should be plenty of time for the buffets, provided that you are seated quickly enough). Hope that helps...

I think our longest wait was CP early part of Thanksgiving week. We had to wait 20mins

In August our usual wait was less than 5 minutes. Our longest wait was 20 minutes. We find that Le Cellier and Crystal Palace usually have the longest waits.

As for a buffet it depends on how much you want to eat. If you are a light eater you can be done in 30 - 45 minutes. If you like to load up they might have to throw you out at closing time.:lmao:

I think the later your reservation is, the longer you will wait for your table.

We were there during free dining the last three years and we were seated within 5 to 10 ten minutes of all of our ADR's except for Boatwright's which was 40 minutes and Whispering Canyon just a couple of weeks ago which was over 30 minutes (and both restaurants we will not return to because of service and food). Last year we waited 20 minutes for Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch.

We were there for free dining a few weeks ago and usually waited about 5 minutes. The exception was Coral Reef where we waited 20 minutes but I had secretly requested a diver for my dh's birthday and they seated us at a table right in front of the tank.

We were there from 9-22 to 9-27. We waited about 5 minutes for Narcoosee's, 1900 Park Fare (breakfast), Rose and Crown, Crystal Palace (breakfast), Citricos, Sci Fi. We waited about 15 min for Chef Mickey's. The longest waits (20+ minutes) were at CRT, Akershus Princess Dining (lunch), and Tony's (lunch ADR at 11:30 right when they opened but we arrived early so not their fault).
