ADR's without reservervations

I just had to cancel my trip this September and I'm rescheudling to the last week of January. Well as of tommorrow I will be 180 days out and would like to make ADR's but really don't want to make room reservations until later in case a deal of some sort is offered for this time frame. I've pretty much always had my reservations made by this time so I'm not sure what the protocol is. Any opinions or experiences to share?

DisneyFan09 - Just go ahead and make them. When they ask where you're staying, just tell them you don't know yet. That means your ADRs will be tied to your home phone number rather than to a reservation. The only thing is that you'll have to wait for each of the days to get to the 180 mark and make separate ADRs, or wait until all days are past the 180 mark, and then make all your ADRs at the same time. You won't have the advantage of making them when the first day hits the 180 day mark, but that's probably not a big deal for most ADRs (maybe with the exception of the princess meals) in any case.

Cheers,

We make ADR's all the time without actually staying at a resort. One reason they ask is for contact information should something happen while you are on property. Otherwise they just ask for a phone number where they can contact you.

Anyone can make ADRs, not just those who are staying onsite, so you won't have any problem at all. As eeyoreiscool and CindyAnn said, they'll simply link your ADR to your telephone number rather than your resort ressie. No worries! :)

A related question:
Can you make ADR's fro the park restaurants as well before you book anything else (like tickets!)
We are planning to to go at the beginning of February and are waiting for the packages to come out before we book but we know what we want to do and would like to make ADR's if possible.
Thanks!

That won't be a problem at all. The same advice that was posted above will apply. You'll either have to call each day for the ADR's as you hit 180 days out for each day, or wait until you're 180 days out from your last day and then you can make them all in one call.

They'll tell you the rules:non-smoking, when to arrive, and admission required, if applicable. But you don't need to have the tickets before you get there if you don't want to.

Woohoo! :cool1:
I'd better nail down my plans then... My 180 days starts On Friday!
Thanks!
