ADRs with Resort Rez?

I'm back on the boards for the first time in five months so forgive me...

With a resort reservation in hand, can we make an ADR only 180 days out, or is it 180 plus 10? Also, does the pscalculator.net or any other site like it account for the +10 policy?

I'm confused myself, but I called Disney Dining and asked them. I said I need to make ADR's for nov 30, dec 1 ect. She said I could make reservations 190 days out. May 24, May 25 etc. Now I think that would mean calling day by day at the 190 day mark. Again, I'm still confused. I read on the Allears newsletter today that people were making ADR's for MVMCP and this is well before the 190 day mark. So, I called and was able to make an ADR for LTT for Dec 1st. I don't know why, but I'm glad I got it.

I don't think I clarified anything for you, but I wanted to share my experience. Hope someone else can clarify.

It was created so that you can make all your reservations for your trip in 1 phone call. Before, you had to call at 90 days out for each day of your trip - so you ended up calling 5-7 days in a row, depending upon how many days you were staying. So, they have decided you can make up to 10 days worth of reservations on your first day's 180 day point.

So take 180 days from the day you check in and want a reservation. Call that date and you can schedule not only that day's dining but any dining you want up to 10 days worth.

You can make even more advanced reservations for special events such as dining at MNSSHP and MVMCP.

Does that make sense?

You can use the calculator- plug in your first date to find the 180 day point. Call on that date and make all your reservations for the entire trip in one fail swoop.
