ADR's with babies?

If a baby is too young to need a high chair, do you mention them at all when making your ADR's?

I just wondered if for fire regulations or something they need to know this info even when a seat isn't required?

I wasn't going to mention it, but then we don't want to get turned away for having too large a party on the day....

I would go ahead and tell them even if you won't need a high chair. There may be some restaurants that have better tables if you will be bringing in a stroller. If you are planning on taking in a stroller, you'll want to ask about that as well. Some restaurants don't have room, ie. Le Cellier. The more info you give them at Dining, the better.

The baby counts as a person for the purposes of your ADR, no matter how young the baby is or whether or not the kid needs a seat.

Would the baby have to go into the restaurant in like a carry cot or something at Le Cellier then? This is one of the ressies we'll be trying to make...

There are a few places I know of that don't allow strollers. Biergarten is one. The entire Land pavilion does not permit strollers to be brought inside, so if you are looking at Garden Grill or Sunshine Seasons the infant will need to be carried somehow. There is not a lot of room in Le Cellier but I can't swear that strollers can't be brought in.

We just came back in May and we brought our stroller into Le Cellier, 50's Prime Time Cafe, and Cape May Cafe. We had to hold the baby in Garden Grill but they had special infant seats in Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace that she could use. We tried the high chair in Planet Hollywood so that I could try eating without holding her but she was still too little for the high chair. We thought we would have to hold her at every meal so it was worth asking what other options we had when we were checking in for our reservations!!!

Does anyone know what other restaurants have the infant seats? We will be travelling in January with a four month old.
