I'm sure if *anyone* had been watching, it would've been amusing, seeing me lying half-awake in bed with my cell in one hand and regular phone in the other at 5:55 a.m. this morning - waiting to call in my ADR's. Even funnier is knowing how so NOT a morning person I am. I'm better off staying up all night than trying to rouse out of my slumber at that type of hour... I've always said, only Disney can get me up and out of bed that early!
Needless to say here's what my family of 6's dining plan looks like for our upcoming trip:
Wed - 11:25a Akershus Princess Storybook Lunch
Thur - 5:10p Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic! Dinner pkg.
Fri - 5p Chef de France
Sat - 5:10p Chef Mickey's (non-park day)
Sun - 5:05p Tony's Restaurant
Mon - 5p Maya Grill
Tues - 4:10p LeCellier
Wed - 10:30a O'Hanas Breakfast
My first choice for LeCellier was Friday but even calling at 5:59 (6:59am EST) at the 180 day mark LeCellier was all booked for dinner for a party of 6. DH was blown away, but it made me feel a bit justified in calling right away (he made fun of me for planning meals for six months from now!).
I know most of the rest of our choices aren't necessarily hot spots and September isn't necessarily busy but it's nice to have out of the way and done! We're only trying three new restaurants this time around (Chef de France, Tony's and Maya Grill). My family is kind of picky (kids are find with chicken strips all week if I'd let them! and DH is all about meat (steak) - NON seafood eater) and we don't spend much time seeking characters out in the parks so that limits us to character meals and the tried and true restaurants.
With that said, I have one more night I *could* book in or out of the parks - any suggestions?
