My ADR's are able to be booked on Tuesday and am unsure which way to go. I have booked my trip through Fairytale Dreams and Destinations here in Ontario and have been told they will make my ADR's. I'm a little nervous with this as they obviously will not book at 7am when phone line opens or 6am when the online reservations open. What has me nervous is that they will obviously have others to book as well, as I don't think I would be the only one with an arrival date of 10/14, and not getting the times I want due to being booked later in the day or another day altogether. I know if I do it myself I'm still not guaranteed to get what I want but at least I will know that I tried at the very opening. So my question is do I book myself or allow them to do it? Also since I have booked through them am I able to book myself as it does state that any updates or changes need to be done through my TA.

Sorry for my rambling but am extremley nervous. Last time we booked through a company called Trip Central and all they did was book the package and I had to do the rest, so working with a Disney TA is a little different to me. Does anyone else have an experience with this?

TIA

You can make your own ADRs when using a TA. I did and I am going in Sept. I got all the ressies I wanted and was able to do it online, but that was my own experience. Some people have had trouble getting them online.

Tell the travel agent you want to make the ADRs yourself. You couldn't make changes to your room without going through your TA, but you can make your own restaurant reservations as the systems are separate. If you want to use 180 + 10 you will need to get your resort confirmation number from them, as you'll need it to confirm that you are staying onsite.

Check with your travel agent to be sure they won't book the ADRs as early as possible. We used a TA 3 years ago, and she was on the phone at 7 am getting our ressies - including Ohana, LeCellier, Coral Reef, Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace, 50s Prime Time, and Teppan Edo - and she got them all within 15 minutes of my requested times. I had the confirmation numbers by 7:30 am on a Sunday morning while I was still sleeping (this was before the online system).

Thanks everyone. I decided to let my TA do the booking. I am working 6pm-2am tonight and so will not be able to get up that early to book. It does have me extremely nervous though.
