ADRs still available for 2/18 - 2/22?

a neighbor friend of mine just informed me that she and her family are going to disney world february 18th through 22nd. they are on the deluxe dining plan and haven't made any ADRs. when i first heard february, i thought okay, no big deal. not very busy anyway. then i looked at a calendar and realized that 2/18 is the wednesday of president's day week. so i'm thinking they WILL be busy. i've already told her she needs to make ADRs ASAP and to let me know what their plans are so i can recommend some places (she's not into disney like i am and doesn't know), but she hasn't responded to my e-mail yet. does she have a chance in hades to get anything decent?

I just made ADRs the other day for an almost-spur-of-the-moment short trip we're planning 2/12-2/17. We were able to get all of our ADRs (except for b'fast at CM) at most of the times we wanted (except we're stuck with an early 4:40 ADR at Boma...it was either that or 8:30), There are still plenty of ADRs to be had, as long as she's a little flexible on time and isn't hoping for CM, CRT or Le Cellier

I think it will depend on how many are in her party too! We tried making reservations for that same week for a party of 8 and had to split into two tables and get times we really didn't want. This was calling last week. Several restaurants were fully booked for some of the nights.

Wow! The deluxe dining plan and no dining plans so far?

I have no idea about availability currently as I'm not going in February, but I hope she either starts making some ADRs or cancels the DxDP in order to save herself some money. That's such a huge up-front expense to risk not being able to eat anywhere (or everywhere you need to to justify the expense).
