I am trying to work on my plan for ADRs. I am having such a hard time deciding on which restaurants. I feel like there are too many that I REALLY want to go to and not enough TS meals/days for them! This is our first trip to WDW, so picking restaurants has been very overwhelming for me. there seem to be so many great ones!

So far this is what I have:

09/22- arrival day- CS only
09/23- DHS- dinner at Mama Melrose (fantasmic pkg)
09/24- Epcot- dinner at Le Cellier (illuminations)
09/25- Epcot- dinner coral reef
09/26- MK- dinner Ohana (Wishes)
09/27- DHS- dinner Cape May
09/28- AK/DTD- dinner whispering Canyon
09/29- MK- bfast 1900 Park Fare

Thoughts??

09/23- DHS- dinner at Mama Melrose (fantasmic pkg)We ate here once and it was fine, but nothing particularly special
09/24- Epcot- dinner at Le Cellier (illuminations)
09/25- Epcot- dinner coral reef
09/26- MK- dinner Ohana (Wishes) Our family's favorite WDW restaurant! The food is great!
09/27- DHS- dinner Cape May
09/28- AK/DTD- dinner whispering Canyon The atmosphere is great and the food is pretty good. I really like the corn bread and my husband loves the bottomless milkshakes!
09/29- MK- bfast 1900 Park Fare This is my favorite breakfast at WDW. Lots of variety and the Mad Hatter is a hoot!

Thoughts??

I commented in purple about the places I have eaten.

What is the other one?

Hollywood & Vine is the other one. We made the mistake of giving that one two tries -- awful both times.

WCC was a combination of bad service, we didn't care for the skillet and my DH got sick on the ribs/chicken in the skillet

wcc dinner is my DH's very fav dinner. milkshakes are awesome!
1900 PF is my personal fav bfast -strawberry soup and lobster eggs benedict!
gotta make sure to save room for dessert at cape may -YUMMY oreo things and choc cheesecake:)
ohana has great salad...and everything else is good too, but I especially like the salad there.
havent ever tried le cellier, coral reef or mama melrose though...

We eat at Whispering Caynons atleast 2x during our trips. We love it there
1900 We normally do dinner there and enjoy it as well (Sept will be our 3x eating there)
We are doing Ohana's for the first time this year and looking forward to it.

Can only comment on Coral Reef and 'Ohana.

Coral Reef - delicious food (more upscale of the two restaurants), really neat atmosphere. Would go back here again.

'Ohana - one of the best dining experiences in WDW! Fantastic food, very fun environment.

Many of your other choices are places we are really looking forward to trying!

Great line up! :thumbsup2

OP - People are going to have varying opinions on your chosen restaurants. None of them strikes me as a big mistake, and several are on our list for next trip.

You're light years ahead of where I was before our first trip. I think we made 3 ADRs total. :lmao: It was just information overload for me!

P.S. One minor comment. For your AK/DTD day, maybe it would be better to pick a DTD restaurant? Seems like a lot of traveling back and forth and DTD has a LOT of well reviewed restaurants!

Ok - one more comment. You're staying at AKL and NOT eating at Boma? I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but you HAVE to eat there for breakfast one morning. I dream about the chocolate pastries. We could have eaten there every morning and every night. Just wait till you set foot in the AKL and smell it. YUM! And I know the dinner has a rep for being exotic, but I didn't find it to be so exotic. There were plenty of "regular" foods and OMG, the desserts!

OK - just one more thing - off topic - we ADORED the AKL. Favorite resort, hands down. You are going to LOVE it.

We ate at Boma for the first time last trip. It was awesome. Even my insanely picky teenager loved it and wants to go back. If you are going to DTD for lunch, T-Rex was great. My 13 year old son and his 13 year old friend (a girl) loved it. Mixed reviews about the food, but we all liked what we got.
