Hi all, forgive my ignorance, because I'm just not sure...

Do we have to be resort guests to make ADRs?

We're staying 4 nights in July and will do most of our ADRs during that period, but there is 1 day when we are planning a trip to MK but won't have checked in at our hotel (AKL) yet, we'll still be at the villa we're renting.

I quite fancy booking breakfast at Crystal Palace but just suddenly thought maybe I can't make an ADR if I'm not actually staying there at the time?

Thanks!

No you dont have to be. They ask where you are staying just so they can note it on the reservation but it doesnt matter if its not Disney

ADRs are not limited to resort guests. Disney would loose a lot of dining money from outsite guests and locals if they did limit the dining. When calling for your reservation, you will be asked for either your resort reservation number OR your home phone number. Also, you will be asked at which resort you are staying. "Offsite" works just as well as any other answer.
