We've been to TE for lunch and dinner in the past, never with an ADR-they didn't used to take them for TE. I read that they now take ADR's for TE--Are they really necessary? I know we want to go there, but not sure which night. We'll be there Aug 5-12.

We too have usually had good luck walking up at TE. That said, if possible try to call Disney Dining the day of your meal. (even if its right before you want to eat) They'll tell you right over the phone if you can get in, rather than schlepping over there to be turned away.:thumbsup2

When I made my ADR's several weeks ago, we planned a BF there. I asked if ressies were necessary and the CM said "Definitely."

Needless to say, I made BF ressies.

On our last trip (oct)to TE the place was FULL. We had to wait more then 20 mins. with ADR's and many without were turned away. You MAY be able to walk in but if you REALLY want to eat here I wouldn't take the chance. Breakfast is great though.

Thank you all for the quick responses. I'll have to talk to my hubby and get him to commit to a particular night for dinner. It is the only sit down place that he said he wants to eat at. We're planning on CS for the rest of our meals, except breakfast, which we'll buy milk at the food court and just have cereal in the room.
