ADRs made!!!!

I made our ADRs today, which means we are 90 DAYS OUT!!!! I am a little bummed, we didn't get into T-Rex:-( But I told DD that we would still go and look inside the restaurant ang get her a Build a Dino!! Does anyone know if we will actually be able to do this, just go and take a look around inside the restaurant? Or if you can see the restaurant from Build a Dino...or if DH & I could order a drink at the bar if DD is w/us?

I dont think its part of the DDP. Its located in DTD.

Did you try calling the restaurant directly. When I called to make reservation, they did not have any on the day I wanted. I called the restaurant directly and they were able to book me the day and time I wanted.

It is in DTD and no it is not a part of the dining plan, but it looks really nice

You can call the resturant direct at 180 days out for ressies! We have ours for August and can't wait!

Try as OP's said to call the restaurant directly to get a reservation. You can also keep trying the ADR number every day and see if something has opened up. People cancel their reservations all the time. We had to do this at the last minute on our trip when we had reservations at Le Cellier over Easter week. We were a party of 11 which meant there were now 3 tables open for other people to get in at the last minute. If you still don't get in before your trip starts, have the concierge check for you every day that you are there or call the restaurant. Just be prepared to make some quick adjustments to your plans if you get in.

You can definitely get a "Build a Dino" without eating at the restaurant. There is one really big entrance and to the right is the store area. We went in April and didnt eat there, and walked around the store and dino area for about 15 mins. It's almost the same as Rainforest Cafe atmosphere.

Just called direct to T-Rex and got a ressie for Mon, 9/22 for dinner. Sounded like they had the whole evening open. Good luck!

Can you call directly to other restaurants within Disney to make reservations prior to the 90day mark? Ex: Akerhaus???? If so, where do you get the numbers?

No, that has to go through Disney Dining, to the best of my knowledge. The reason you can call T-Rex and Rainforest directly is that they are not run by Disney and are not on the Disney Dining Plan.
