Planet Hollywood in DTD for dinner (no time yet)

I highly suggest going early to the Hoop De Doo and throwing back a few drinks in Crockett's Tavern first (It's right next door). It's one of my fave memories from our WDW honeymoon (almost TEN years ago!). Have a great time.

No no no skip the San Angel Inn. Nasty service. I reccommend Marrakesh instead, very good even for the skittish eater.

I would probably skip Concourse Steakhouse or Park Fare in favor of Narccoosses. Much much better food and views.

Sunday, Aug. 6th: Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review @ 9:30 p.m. - :thumbsup2

Monday, Aug. 7th: Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater (Lunch) @ 12:10 p.m. - haven't tried this one yet but I hear that the milkshakes are :teeth:
Planet Hollywood in DTD for dinner (no time yet) - haven't seen too many favorable reviews of this one :guilty:

Tuesday, Aug. 8th: San Angel Inn in Epcot @ 6:00 p.m. - we ate here on our first WDW trip and thought it was good....different, but good
Wednesday, Aug. 9th: Liberty Tree Tavern in MK @ 6:00 p.m. - lots of fun and the rolls are really yummy
Thursday, Aug. 10th: Boma (breakfast) @ 9:00 a.m. - never been
Concourse Steakhouse @ 6:00 p.m. - never been

Friday, Aug. 11th: 'Ohana @ 6:20 p.m. - family favorite

Saturday, Aug. 12th: Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare @ 6:20 p.m. - ate here a couple of years ago and really liked it--especially the 5 cheese lasagna

Have fun :yay:

Just so you all know...we are using the DDP table service credits for all except Planet Hollywood (voucher for 1 free meal), Boma (OOP for breakfast bc it's where we are staying), Sci-Fi (OOP), and Liberty Tree Tavern (OOP). So when you make suggestions, keep in mind that we are slightly limited. Thanks!

Your dining picks looks good to me. Since you're doing the 9:30 HDDR I suggest making a reservation for the carriage ride at FW before.

I have also heard from other people that San Angel Inn was their absolute favorite at Disney. Just goes to show if you ask 50 people, you get 50 different opinions. We haven't eaten at San Angel, but we are going March 3rd! Last time we went to Disney we rode the boat ride there and my DH and I promised we would eat there next time we went back. Two years later, our trip is around the corner!

Sunday, Aug. 6th: Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review @ 9:30 p.m. - (never been)

Monday, Aug. 7th: Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater (Lunch) @ 12:10 p.m. - (interesting atmosphere, worth a look I think. food ok)

Planet Hollywood in DTD for dinner (no time yet) - (never been)

Tuesday, Aug. 8th: San Angel Inn in Epcot @ 6:00 p.m. - (it's darker in this restaurant, which would be a nice mood setter. food unremarkable but ok...my favorite at Epcot is the French restaurant.)

Wednesday, Aug. 9th: Liberty Tree Tavern in MK @ 6:00 p.m. - (I wasn't thrilled with this character meal. food ok but nothing great...I think I prefer the Crystal Palace)

Thursday, Aug. 10th: Boma (breakfast) @ 9:00 a.m. - (haven't done breakfast but dinner was wonderful - loved the buffet, truely one of the best restaurants at Disney I think)

Concourse Steakhouse @ 6:00 p.m. - ( been there, done that and I'd skip this one - first of all the restaurant has NO atmosphere and the food was average)

Friday, Aug. 11th: 'Ohana @ 6:20 p.m. - (never been)

Saturday, Aug. 12th: Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare @ 6:20 p.m. - (never been)

Well, for steak I'd go with Le Cellier instead of Concourse. You could make it dinner instead of San Angel on the 8th........

.........then on the 10th, do Boma for dinner instead of Concourse. I love Boma's dinner menu!

For breakfast on the 10th, hmm.....we don't eat breakfast too much except character breakfasts for the kids, maybe someone else can give a suggestion.

Just suggestions based on our tastes and experiences!

Is the credit you have just for one free meal or just for one free meal at Planet Hollywood? If you can use it anywhere, I would definitely not use it for Planet Hollywood.

The only thing I would say with many of your reservations is that they are not really romantic locations. San Angel Inn is billed as romantic, but it is really loud a lot of the time. If you are looking to find that romantic magic on your honeymoon, then maybe you should think of changing. Also, when DH and I were in WDW on our honeymoon, we really enjoyed a couple character meals. We got a lot of attention, and it was kind of silly fun.

Sunday, Aug. 6th: Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review @ 9:30 p.m.

I think this would be a great first night! I second the the suggestion of getting there early & going on a carriage ride - so romantic! If you do decide to do this, check & see if you need to make advance reservations.

Monday, Aug. 7th: Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater (Lunch) @ 12:10 p.m.
Planet Hollywood in DTD for dinner (no time yet)

Sometimes, the food at Sci-Fi gets so-so reviews, but I think the atmosphere looks really cool. I know that if I ever went to WDW w/ just my DH, he would insist upon trying it. ;)

Tuesday, Aug. 8th: San Angel Inn in Epcot @ 6:00 p.m.

My DH has always wanted to try this restaurant, so, this year, we are! I think it looks romantic & would be good choice for a honeymoon. If I were on my honeymoon & choosing a World Showcase table service restaurant, I'd have a very hard time choosing! There are so many wonderful options - Le Cellier, Rose & Crown (for Illuminations viewing), Chefs de France, San Angel Inn... I think you'll be fine w/ San Angel Inn!

Wednesday, Aug. 9th: Liberty Tree Tavern in MK @ 6:00 p.m.

This is one of our favorite character meals. We thought the food was good, & the character interaction was really good too. However, if you're wanting a character meal w/ Mickey Mouse, he's not at Liberty Tree Tavern. For dinner, two of the places you could find him are at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary (which is a buffet & a noisier atmosphere) and the Garden Grill at EPCOT (which is served family-style in a more "intimate" setting).
However, if I were on my honeymoon, I would HAVE to eat at CRT in Cinderella Royal Table (even though it is 2 TS credits). I just think that would be so perfect - especially if timed to coincide w/ Wishes.

Thursday, Aug. 10th: Boma (breakfast) @ 9:00 a.m.

Is this your AK day? The buffet at Boma alsways gets rave reviews! We've never been there for breakfast, but we really enjoyed our dinner there last year.

Concourse Steakhouse @ 6:00 p.m.

Honestly, I'd probably switch this ADR to California Grill. Although it is also 2 TS credits, it's one of those "dream" restaurants for me - that if I were ever there w/ just my DH, it would be one of the 1st ADR's I made.

If you only wanted to use 1 TS credit, I would instead go to either the Grand Floridian Cafe or the other 1 TS credit restaurant at the GF. I think both of those restaurants would probably have more "atmosphere" than the Concourse Steakhouse.

Friday, Aug. 11th: 'Ohana @ 6:20 p.m.

This is a fun restaurant! And many of the tables have a view of Cinderella Castle. If I were you, I'd make this my last night dinner & try to time it closer to Wishes. If you had an ADR closer to Wishes, you could watch from the restaurant, or, even if you do finish before Wishes begins, you could watch the show from the beach at the Poly - which I think would be so romantic & a lovely "ending" for your honeymoon.

Saturday, Aug. 12th: Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare @ 6:20 p.m.

I think this is a great choice for a honeymoon since both Cinderella & Prince Charming are there! How fun!! And the buffet is supposed to be really good too. However, I'd probably switch this ADR w/ your 'Ohana ADR & eat at 'Ohana for your last night.

Congrats on the upcoming wedding & have a wonderful honeymoon!
