We rang up last week (150 days before our holiday) thinking we'd get all our chosen ADR's but we were wrong!
We can't book into to T-Rex at all for our trip (we are there for 3 weeks in Oct) and we had to juggle our itinery around to fit our other ADR's in.
We only made 3 ADR's but I would say to anyone thinking they aren't necessary, they are! Especially if you have somewhere you definately want to eat at!

Try calling trex direct, i think they only let disney book so many reservations from reading other boards

My 180 is tomorrow and ill be on the phone at 11am

Try calling T-Rex directly, they only seem to release some availability to Disney, and the rest is open at the restaurant.

I did my ADRs on my 180 day mark but had to change one to something else and did this on the 175 day mark and couldn't get what I was looking for!! Scary stuff.

Hope you manage to get T-Rex booked :-) x

Call T-Rex they do not release all times to Disney and you should be able to get anytime you want.

As others have said, try contacting T-Rex direct. I think they only release 10% of their tables to Disney. :thumbsup2

It is worrying, when you cant book the ones you want so far in advance.
A lot of people tend to book their Adrs so far in advance and then cancel nearer the time. So don't give up hope :goodvibes
also remember people cancel the day before, so check when youre away. Plus a lot of restaurants do take walk ups-easier to get a table at opening times.

I feel sorry for people who go and aren't aware of it.

Have a look at the online reservations too, just easier to keep checking.
Another thing is how many of you are there?
Most tables are for 2/4/6 etc. its easier to get reservations for even numbers. We are a family of 3 and are always give a table for 4.
so it there's 3 of you, try searching for 4 etc.
we're never had to do this but its something I see mentioned numerous times on the food forum.

good luck and I hope you manage to get a few more bookings. pixiedust:

Last year I went on the T-Rex website and got the email address and emailed my request

I got an email back within a couple of days confirming our booking

They are so important! I booked all mine on my 180 days having planned everything with a fine tooth comb in advance. There was only one thing I had to be flexible with.

I am so glad I took some time to plan ahead and get organised - like you say it's so scary how fast it all gets booked up!

Keep looking out for cancellations though - there is an October cancellation thread on here and it's worth checking everyday on the WDW website for anything you really want to do!

Good luck

There really are only a handful of restaurants that need to be booked at 180 days the rest you can book much closer most of the year - the exception to this is when US free dining is offered.

For example at Easter I booked 'Ohana breakfast 3 weeks out and had a choice of times including the time I wanted (was looking for 7.30 to 8am). Turf Club & Yachtsman booked same day for prime dinner times.:thumbsup2

See although they are important I've never not got everything I wanted,
Trex although was booked up online through Disney we got twice due to calling so def call up!

Most also take walk ups so when your in Disney if you ever want anything pick up your phone and call reservations as we cancelled many last trip an moved stuff around due to kids being too tired so always check on the day to see if you can get something you could not get before hand. :)

We always do ADRs at 180 days but I do tinker with them afterwards and most can still be got. The difficult ones in my list are Chef Mickeys and Ohana. We couldn't get T-Rex for dinner either but I did manage to snag a lunch which with my finalist plans actually works better.

whenever anyone asks me for advice about booking their WDW holiday it's the first tip I give them. I do go on to explain why and also to say that if TS meals are not their priority then they don't need to worry about it.

I decided (too late) that I wanted to get ADR's at 'Ohana and Chef Mickeys. I kept checking daily and got both.:thumbsup2 I'm really glad I did, as they turned out to be two of our favourites.:)
