ADR's...How often do you call?

I got a 9:15pm for Ohana on our first day, but I want something a little bit earlier. How often do you call to check for cancellations?

I tend to shuffle things around right up until the trip. But for Ohana, which wont charge you for a no show, I wouldn't even bother checking back, though you can always ask when you call about something else. If you want an alternative, Kona Cafe has wonderful breakfast.
