ADRs- how important for January?

We are planning to be there Jan.2-12 and I have already made a few ADRs (CRT, 1900, LeCellier) but there are a few more that we would like to try.
I'm not quite sure what days/times to schedule them because our little ones might be tired after a full day at the park (they will be 2 and 4), so I'd like to wait and see.
What are our chances of getting into Concourse, Whispering Canyon, etc. for dinner and maybe Coral Reef for a lunch during that time-frame without an ADR?

It really depends. I would suggest making your ADRs in advance and then if you end up not being able to make them just call and cancel. This past Jan LeCellier was full up and there were people tring to do walk ups and being told no go and they were so upset they accused the CM of lying.

wow.... ok.. thanks!

Just for example, there was one day during our trip this past January where there wasn't a single table to be had at any TS restaurant at the MK, starting from 5PM onward. This was the middle of the week, and not on a holiday week. You may get lucky, but you may not: Be prepared both ways.

Thanks for the info. I guess I just feel bad making the ADR knowing there is a good chance we will have to cancel.. and then maybe someone else won't get one and they would definitely be able to make it.

I was hoping it might be a slower time of the year, but I'm not getting that impression ;)

I guess I will just make the additional ADRs and cancel as soon as it looks like it won't work out for that day.
Thanks!

It is a slower time of the year. You still are better off having ADRs.
