I've just noticed the following on the UK website

Please make dining reservations from home up to 180 days in advance by calling 0870 24 24 900

Does this mean it isn't necessary to call the US anymore? Sorry if I missed this, but I have always called the USA and didn't realise we could make ADRs with the UK Disney people. :confused3 It would be a lot easier because the US call centre CMs never understand my accent, and certainly never spell my name right!!

That's interesting! Especially as it says 180 days. I thought it had changed to 90 days?

That's what I thought too! Does anybody know what's going on?:confused3

i think if you have booked with disney uk you can call the uk number, thats what they told me when i booked with them for this year.

I hope it is 180 days as that would mean i can book now!

just called them and we cant start booking ours till 29th may and we fly out on 27th aug, this was the uk number

Hi, I just saw this post.... I was just speaking with someone on that number regarding our booking this coming May. He confirmed that you can make dining reservations on this number if you have a holiday booking reservation number with the UK Walt Disney Travel Company.

HOWEVER....I tried to make some bookings and they informed me they cannot make any dining reservations beyond May 20th. So now I am sitting on the usual USA line waiting to make the ADRs... another hour wasted no doubt.

Does anyone from the UK have any tips as to when is the best time to call? I have never had so much trouble getting through.

Hi...:)

Yep you def still need to call the US numbers at the moment and it is only 90 days for ADR's...

I have called them twice last week on thursday and friday at about 7pm and got through within 5 mins to a CM, Was a bit slow when i got throught kept putting me on hold and took about 20 mins to sort it all....:thumbsup2

I am still using the US number as it actually cheaper than calling the UK 0870 number!

I have rung every day for last week normally mid afternoon and not had to queue for more than a couple of mins :thumbsup2

I'll try and call again at 7pm, - twice today I've been holding on for more than 30 minutes and still made no contact. That theme park music is driving me mad !!! (I never thought I would say that). I must be able to get through some time.

I've found that calling around 5pm UK time on a Sunday is a good time to do it. I've not had to wait at all and I use a special rate call service so the calls are 1p per minute. I can't remember the name of the service but the number is 0844 8617878. You call that and then follow the instructions, that way it doesn't really matter if the call takes a while.

Sounds like you're using 'TeleDiscount'?

how does that figure:confused3

The last time I spoke to the UK people, they mentioned I could book through them so I may give it a go on my 90 day and if no joy, then try the US.

If you are with BT depending on your calling plan all calls to 0870 and 0844 numbers are now free, have a look on the BT website there is a section about it there :thumbsup2

Before you dial the US phone numer dial,

0844 8617878 this is telediscount and calls then cost you 1p per min to the US... 0870 in the UK costs more than 1p per min :thumbsup2

ok that makes sense, i didn't realise you were using telediscount and couldn't see how international rate was cheaper...
